Lionel Messi - v7

Why the fuck would any Barca fan want Messi to leave? Greatest ever Barca player and still the best in the world who should retire at this club.

If he wants to leave, not granting him his wish would make us petty and be like the prison that many of us ridiculed PSG for.

Imagine how average our squad is gonna be without Messi, and he is leaving for free  on top of all the recent money waste we will lose the best in the world for free :lo:

How can you easily dismiss the amigos theory when there are such tweets?

The Messi FC users have completely overlooked this, it's pathetic. There is growing evidence that there's a club de amigos by the day. It's just sad that users like me, Serghei, and even you are shitted on for posting concrete first party proof.

Both David Ornstein(ex- BBC and now The Athletic) and Sam Lee(Man City insider) now reporting Man City are indeed talking with Messi and will sign him if Barca let him leave for free.

There is no way that should be allowed to happen. We need the money to begin our own rebuild. So cough up City. If you want the best you better pay for it.

It depends on what happens. If Messi goes to City the conspiracy theory you lot wrote about for hours is completely dismissed.

After neymar said what he said, man can only think that he was right about the toxic people from above. Who knows whats in play with barto shady deals from asia. You cant just believe that best players with one of the highest wage's in football world and in the club and city like barca would just go mayhem mode out of nothing.

Leo, fuck them good until they bleed. If im not mistaken, his tax 'drama' was also during barto's tenure. Only pique is somehow 'peaceful' about the board actions, and somehow he's also involved in some business activities from asia also.

Endure Leo, dethrone that rat fucker

Bartomeu is already scheduled to leave. Why would anyone do that to Koeman? If he came, he for sure had a clear agreement with Bartomeu who guaranteed him full powers to set the foundation for a rebuild of the team. Bartomeu is scheduled to leave in about half a year. Him remaining president ensures Koeman the continuity he needs to continue the work he has started.

This is pretty clear to me. Bartomeu started a rebuilding process after the 8-2 historical embarrassment (something he should have done years ago) by investing Koeman with full powers. Who is totally a different animal in terms of mentality, ambition, authority, than guys like Valverde and Setien. This irked the veterans the wrong way, because they felt signaled out. Especially once Koeman started to make some things clear that the way of doing things in the team will change.

Why are you making Barto out to be this martyr and lone voice for revolution?

You've drawn up this whole idea but there's nothing real to support it. Any new board, any new coach is not gonna want Amigos dominating the team. Neither does it fully make sense that Messi is that stupid himself.

To say this is the case would be to suggest that Messi truly doesn't give a flying fuck that we lost 8-2, only gives a fuck that there could potentially be change and he wants to stop it.

Maybe, he just thinks Bartomeu isn't the guy to lead the change and he just wants his head to roll even if it is only symbolic. He probably knows that most of the vets can't hold it together anymore but thinks that the person in charge of moving things in a new direction should be different than Bartomeu the failure and that it's possible to treat the vets better even if they need to step down.

People here seem to mix up 2 things.
- Amigos want to keep being starter and won't leave
- Amigos want to be treated respectfully.

The second point is nothing wrong, completely normal. I have seen people shit on Suarez when he said he want to be informed directly if he is not needed.

The point is if you want to fire someone you need to tell them personally not through media.

Imagine you know you will get fired through your customer not by your boss/company. How would that work for you?

Most jurnos (legit ones) are reporting he wants to leave, point blank.

Amigos theory rests on argument that Messi wants to go trophLess for his last few years of football just so he can play with his friend. It undermines Messis will to win and pretty much says "He is not bothered by not winning anything and losing 8-2, as long as he plays with his pals".

I am not. Bartomeu is simply already done with. It's like killing a dead horse. He's fucking dead already. How can you kill him if he's fucking dead already?

Bartomeu isn't leading shit. Koeman is making the shots in the team.
