IMO needs to win Copa America to have it 100 % in the bag. Even if France only reach Euro finals, Mbappe will still have a good shot. I have no doubt they will win Ligue 1 (they barely play 100 % in most of their matches).

If Mbappe wins ligue 1 and Euro but Messi wins la liga and copa america Messi has a good chance to win it. But as you said Messi needs to win copa america. If man city wins CL and kevin de bruyne plays a strong Euro he would be top favourite on title.
