What bait ?

Guy needed all time legendary players for his CL career. As soon as he didn't have that United + RM legendary lineup he didn't do shit.

Dude what are you talking?? He lead a C-level team to the first trophy in Portugal's history! No Maradona, no Pele, no Messi have ever done such a big task!

Case in point.

Go see what you posted in response to Messi’s goal video. Lying mongrel

that was an observation from me which wasnt wrong, nothing to do with a bait

But he was mediocre at Euro 2016. He had like two good games of 6 and a bit and they won the final without him. His team-mates helped a lot, even if they weren't the best on paper, they still played above themselves on the pitch.

It's actually a travesty he gets a lot of credit for that tournament as he only really played well against Hungary and maybe Wales. They were on the verge of elimination due to his no-shows and missed penalty against Iceland and Austria. Rest of the games in knock-outs other than Wales, he did nothing really. All of his assists were mishit shots or keeper rebounds.

As for Maradona - Mexico 86 Argentines was a good, not great team (minus Diego). He vastly elevated them. Argentina then were probably better relative to the era than Ronaldo had at Portugal in 2016, but that is vastly offset by the fact that Maradona was miles and stratospheres better in 86 than Ronaldo was in 2016.
