MEssi will likely be 36 by the time he leaves PSG, he wouldn't even fit into the starting formation due to the way he currently plays to preserve himself.

I see him either going to Newells or Inter Miami by the end of 2023

well, he kept winning bdors, so thats his standard. he didnt meet it. and the posters here also never acknowledge that he declined, no matter how many important matches messi walked around in with his head down the messi bois here would say he was as good as he was in 2012

Now watch the club sentimentally allow Messi back into the team. And then watch him using his clout to satisfy his ego trip and start most games spoiling the vibrant, young, new Barca created by Xavi by that time.

Ideally, if Messi comes back it should be for diplomatic roles. Otherwise all of Xavi's good work and progress can be screwed in no time.

Slippery slope its gonna be for Barca

Nah. He'll start whenever he wants and the tactics will be tweaked according to his deficiencies.

And then you'll have the partisan fanbase give Messi uncontrollable clout.

The results will plummet and the talented youngsters who represent Barca's future will start getting called "overhyped" and "plain shite" on this very forum

Subsequently, the board, youngsters and ultimately Xavi will all be thrown under the bus. So predictable.
