Game control is not a tactic. It's down to players. The system didn't give us total control. Xavi did. That's what people don't get. If anything, we need to make sure we do better individually.

You think you can just toss a ball to good players and tell them : " go control the game" ?

Get real. Try to play like Barcelona in 2009-12 with some other Masia player instead of Xavi, and you will find that you won't control shit. Our ability to control a game has diminished since Xavi left/declined. Why did you think that happened "genius"?

He didn't need to make a sub but he did and there we go we lost midfield to City, Raki was pretty good, bad decision.
The problem is he can't sub MSN so he starts to change midfield by bringing Arda/Rafi/Denis in and then fuck up midfield synergy. Although if it were another manager maybe he could bring something out of Arda/Rafi/Denis to become effective in midfield but Lucho yet hasn't got that plan to pull it off.

Control does not mean possession. It means minimising errors. That does not rely on individuality to the extent you make it out.

Coaching? Of course some players have qualities that fit a certain playstyle more, but throw in Xavi today and you still wont control shit, because Enrique has not clue about positional coaching beyond rudimentary stuff.
You have to tell your players where they should position themselves when a player has the ball in relation to the opponent, where do you do that?`On the training ground.
The best player in the world cannot control anything without passing options or players not being in the right postions to receive the ball.

Yes it does. Most errors in a game of football are individual. This night City scored two goals because of 3 big errors made by Roberto, Busi and Stegen. That's what we need to eliminate from our game. We were controling the game until that error from Roberto for example and we were very close to scoring for 2-0 and make it a very good night several times.
This game was the mirror image of the Camp Nou game except we are a better team than City, so we beat them worse.

That is just an assumption. Lucho never had a prime or close prime Xavi to work with. He tries to adapt this Barcelona to playing without it's most influential midfielder ever probably. So far he's done a very good job.

A coach has an important role in strategising against varying teams and their pressing patterns in order to make the build up stable. How many times has this Barcelona had unstable build up? Too many! One match is okay, but I am sure of double digit figures of matches where we have been unstable...That's why we concede 3 or 4.

This will be his last season, unfortunately we will not win anything. It's imposible to do that with this type of display. He has lost it completely. To be honest our table position is much better than we deserve at the moment and that is just because we have MSN. Sorry to say but this season is looking much worse with every new game we play. I am afraid there is no Xavi this year to turn this shit around.

I will support Lucho for this season and see how things go once the competitions are wrapped up.
I think November is going to be hell for him though based on the fixtures and how poorly we are playing.
Hope he can get a efficient system going for the second half of the season like he did in 2014/2015.

Its not an assumption, you can observe that from the day Enrique started being the Barca coach.
How the players move , where they move, its all not very good in order to control a game.
Most of the goals are scored because of pressing and counter attacks.
