-Then we got very substantial rumours of Valverde/Barca wanting Willian , heck we even got Willian saying that Barcelona made a bid (http://www.espn.co.uk/football/socc...na-made-bid-but-future-is-with-maurizio-sarri) So there was clear interest in a extra winger from Valverde.
-Barcelona were put off by the high price Chelsea were demanding and got Malcom instead and now we are seeing how it unfolds.

Granted, I haven't seen much of Malcom, but he strikes me much more as a winger type than Willian, who has played centrally quite a bit and in general looks like a harder worker than Malcom does. This would also make sense seeing how EV likes to play inside wingers such as Cout and now even Rafinha ahead of Dembouz and Malcom. So my best guess is still that it is a tactically reasoned omission and not a personally and vindictive reasoned one.

And just a disclaimer before you yell at me for either wanting Willian or supporting EV's choice: I do neither, but looking at it rationally, this does make sense.

I also don't get why are people refusing an option that Malcom is maybe average for Barca's standards.

A coach, and not only him, but his staff and other Barca's sporting staff see him on training every day.

They have seen 1000s of hours of his abilities.
I am not saying that he is not training well, but that maybe he is just not good enough compared with other attackers in our team.
I know that he didn't play too much, but in two friendlies in a preseason, two La liga cameos and in a Cdr, he hasn't shown anything except a goal against Roma.

I mean, you guys all believe in his abilities, based on:
1. Youtube highlights from a so-called farmer's league
2. His high pricetag
3. And his good skills and development on Fifa and Football manager

Inbefore someone mentions Gomes as a proof how EV is a bad manager.

I by no means like Valverde's treatment of Malcom. But it's not that hard to see why he favors Munir (as our only no 9. alternative) and often Dembele. Altogether seems fishy as the only player Valverde ever froze out was fucking Arda fucking Turan. Everybody else got chances. In short, I see why he's not favored, but not why he's ignored.

Cillessen is a backup GK, signed to play CdR. No more, no less. Denis had tons of chances last season, not much less than Gomes. Miranda's like 19, I don't give you that.

What leaves us with Mina, Samper (clearly no future here, poor players) and Arda (doesn't give a fuck). I don't think Malcom belongs to any of these groups.

'Hes not good enough' how the hell can we tell if hes good enough when this coward of a manager leaves him out of the squad again and again? is it something he doesn't like in training?? if thats the case, why are the likes of Pique and Suarez undroppable despite them actually playing and starting matches in dogshit form? (answer: EV is a pussy and won't bench the seniors) and maybe its just me but after seeing how clueless he was during the Rome disaster, im not sure I'd trust him with any type of decisions, infact im not sure why hes even still here

EVs logic is to leave players on the sidelines and then throw them in a match, they play crap due to lack of matches and then its back to the fucking bench again or in Malcoms case he can just stay at home.

why have Munir on the bench (a ST and a useless one at that) when Suarez barely ever comes off anyway? if Dembele starts playing bad, why not give Malcom a shot?????
