In domestic terms Man Utd were dominant, absolutely.

Apart from the glorious 1998/99 season, in Europe there were some low moments like Galatasaray and Monaco eliminations. Also the 4-0 schooling by Barcelona at Camp Nou.

I cannot specifically name the team of the 90's. Juventus were the team to beat after 1995, but the doping allegations and the sentencing in 2002 of the club doctor, who worked in 1994-1998 at Juve cast a big shadow.
It's well-known that United dominates the PL in the 90s (which was nowhere near the top league in Europe, and inferior to the present PL).

They struggled a lot in the CL. Were often eliminated to 'lesser' sides and only won 2 CLs despite winning 13 PL titles, one thanks to a Terry slip and one after being outplayed the entire game by Bayern.

It's indisputable I am afraid.

All these will be decided in a few weeks, they've pretty much turn the team into a mini Netherlands/rich Ajax, only player missing is de jong.

ETH has no excuses, the club has backed him again

Fergie was never great tactically and it impacted Europe.

He was about as good a man manager as will ever get and specific for the time but coaching he lacked.

I said what relevance award had to argument.. feel free to read back.
Yoi slabbered some wank about players.

Here's the truth, try to read it:

1) Callum Wilson and Ivan Toney are not hyped as 'England's Golden Boy' as Marcus Rashford is. They're far less hyped in the media, so even when they outscore him, Rashford's hype will be superior;

2) Players generally go along with media hype too. Especially thick ex pros in England;

3) The award is voted for by the fans. It's based on tribalism, not who is the best. Rashford won because so many United fans voted for 'their boy'. City fans are far less omnipresent in online spaces than United and Liverpool fans. Those two clubs' fans overtake and dominate every online vote. Haaland for example was clearly better, byt United fans won't vote for Haaland over Rashford will they?'

4) and linked to 3. Haaland and De Bruyne will have split the City vote, whereas all United fans will vote for Rashford (maybe the odd one Casmeiro, can't remember if he was nominated). Similar to how in the treble season, Ginola won POTY because United had lots of good performers and split the vote.

It's really not hard to see that 'Fans POTY' is a glorified popularity contest for Gen Z kids and older saddos online. Yet you cling to it like it's the be all and end all.

It won't be decided in a few weeks.

They could start well and fall away.

We will only know in May, or even two or three seasons from now.

Football is long-term. Nothing is decided after 'a few weeks at the start of the season'.

They have a 'good' start fixture wise so they need to make it count.

Struggle there and it will turn sour very quickly.

So first few weeks could very well be important.. if it is going wrong.

Not sufficiently.

I want you to finally reveal if you think Rashford deserved the Fans POTY over Haaland and De Bruyne. And Case deserved TOTY over Rodri?

Its not hard, yes or no? In each case it's a binary answer.
