Seems like an easy thing to fake, especially on first glance, but tbh I don't think MD would be willing to do that. On one hand he's literally wearing the same clothes as last night, so to have a picture with that position and setup to later photoshop the cover on is pretty convenient. They've also credited the photographer and literally claim that it's real. There's no faster way to kill their credibility if it was fake as people would know in less than 24 hours. Romero also says that it's real and that we'll see in the paper tomorrow.
Assuming it's real, that's a pretty big power move on Verratti's part
. Dunno what their thought process is with this, but from a neutral perspective it could actually be really inflammatory with Nasser and all the PSG directors. Could backfire badly and ruin whatever minuscule level of goodwill that previously existed in the negotiations. We don't know much though, hope this was a well thought out and calculated move by Verratti and his agent.
