He has the right to do. But he doesn't have the level to take the place of Luiz or T.Silva. Maybe the Aurier case can offer him a place on the right.

Definitely prefer him over Laporte whom haven't been continually impressive for a couple of years. Performs better (although for a much better team), and has a better physical contrast to Pique. Question is if we can lure him away from PSG. Which is pretty unlikely.

Also, we need to balance the potential Brazilian losses of Adriano, Douglas and eventually Alves to make sure Neymar is kept happy

Luiz is not a defender and the only reason why plays instead of Marcos is beacuse was payed 50 milions and Blanc has no balls to put him on the bench.

Marquinhos is already a much better defender than Luiz. Even against Chelsea, Luiz was mediocre, Marcos saved the ass of Psg.

I wouldn't say two times the player, but saying at this point in time he's better than Laporte and Varane isn't overhyping him, it's the truth. IMO of course.

He cleans up a lot of messes and clears a lot of balls in the back. Luiz's positioning is just dreadful and his discipline hasn't improved much as he's grown older. Luiz has workrate and desire but there is a lot lacking as a footballer. Thiago Silva isn't in the best form at the moment either. There is no reason of than price tags for them starting over Marquinhos regularly, especially considering Luiz.
