Guess stop, he does things well like pressing.

But end of the day you need talent to make it here, scoring wonder goals out of nothing.

Braithwaite can't finish sorry he's not Barca quality

He is going to waste on wing. He is not a winger but he has to play there because Messi is walking in his #9 spot.

We don't need world class #9. We have a lot of offensive talent. We need a guy who will put in few goals from breakaways and press like an animal and makes runs behind the defense. That means opponent can't focus on our other offensive talented players. All they need is space. Braithwaite can provide that.

Look at Liverpool. It's same concept. A lot of their players are not that talented but they run like beasts. You don't need talent in every position but you do need legs.

Coutinho, Griezmann, Dembele, Fati, Messi is quite a lot of firepower. More than most of the teams in the world.

He's definitely a 9 imo. Looks handicapped on the wing. Ironically he's not fast enough to be a winger whereas he is a fast CF.

He struggles on wing because he can't really run past his opponent with the ball or make good passes/dribble. Much better suited as a #9 who makes runs and presses like mad man.

Defensively he was one of our better players. Insane work rate.( That's one thing he does well in wing position, and the reason Koeman plays him there to cover for Messis lack of movement.)

He needs 3 or 4 touches before doing anything useful with the ball. Blends right in with our other slow witted players Coutinho and Griezmann. He has cost us 18m though as opposed to 120-160m so can't fault him much when the others get to stink up the place even more.

Can't believe people are complaining about him. One of the best players on the pitch. Wins so many aerial duels (when was the last time that happened?), has decent hold up play, runs and presses, has some neat turns and runs into the box.

The fact that he's not a good finisher and isn't world class is obvious, everyone knew that, he cost 18m at 28 years of age. The point is that as of this moment he's bringing more to the team than Greizman, Coutinho, etc. Nobody is suggesting that we don't need a WC #9 going forward, but with the current squad and with Dembele and Fati injured, he's basically becoming the most important cog in attack.

For me hes like a talentless Cristiano Ronaldo. Looks like he should be in the center, but looks lost when actually playing there (as a lone striker).

He has no idea at all how to play CF and just buzzes about without looking a threat for most part.

There is no focal point in attack and team find it too easy to it back and defend the box.

Spot on, Liverpool like you said is a prime example (they have got a team built with talents and players that are always pressing)

don't understand why people try to find positives in this guy's performances. he's below average.

barcelona ain't running a popularity contest. he can be a nice bloke somewhere else.

so you get a donkey, slap the no 9 on the back of his barca shirt, start him because no other option available = praise is in order for doing absolutely nothing.

The so-called donkey is currently contributing more than the >120m Coutinho, they are so many things wrong with this club right now.
