LOL, now all of a sudden Bartra is so much better than Thiago, Tello and Montoya.
He is better than Montoya and Tello right now.

I agree, but from what you read here, you'd think that Bartra is an all-around better player than all of them, whereas a few months ago most people were saying how Bartra just doesn't have what it takes, doesn't have the potential to be good for Barca, and how Thiago and Montoya were future stars. The only thing that's changed is that we've seen Bartra's true potential. That doesn't mean that Montoya's or Thiago's (or Tello's) potential and talent have diminished in the meantime. They're just out of form or injured or whatever, respectively. There's too many impulsive posts based on what person X has seen in the last few weeks/months here. Look at the big picture. Last season Montoya showed glimpses of greatness, and at times he was better than Alves. Now all of a sudden Bartra is so much better than him in general? Not to mention Thiago, who's an enormous talent.
I just cannot understand some of you guys. Give Montoya confidence, regular playing time and he will come good. He won't become as good as Alves overnight, you know.....
Although the renewal talks with Montoya have stalled now, a deal is likely. The player wants to stay. Problem could be the incentives. [el9]
Can't believe people are dismissing Montoya without giving him a chance to prove himself even after what happened with Bartra. Bartra was"not good enough for barca" and now is our best defender and a God to people. What if Montoya had converted that shot in the 2-2 have against Madrid? Would he a God too?
