In PL almost every club is not owned by the fans, is that something to be proud of? Clubs earn his way up and get bigger. Now is just getting pumped with not self earned money. Nicer to see teams like Slovan Bratislava, Maccabi Haifa, Rosenborg, Panathinaikos, Sparta Prague etc in CL.

Villa is a big club? :ROFLMAO:

Alemany is shrewd but success for a club is a formula with many factors, SD is only one. Emery has failed at every ‘big’ club he has gone to and AV’s new billionaire owners are not coming with a resume of sporting success

the day Spanish teams ( outside RM) will get out of this lalaland of club owned by fans ( which started by the biritsh themselves) it will be too late and LL will turn into a Serie A 2.0

The world changes, idiot don't and get left behind.

Managing a Club like a company and have a financial power so even in big crisis you have soft landing ( Covid says hello)
Or this socio corrupted shit we've been since ages, despite having the most talented player in the history for decades and probably the most talented squad ever for years which brought us success in the pitch and hype and new fans.

Socialism is SHIT

Villa were a big club, and they have an ambitious project. It's a great project to move to.

Regarding us. Check the salary we offer our top players compared to EPL. Check Lewa wage to Haalands, Ferrans to what he got in City. Etc. We still play top dollar.

Check Valverde wage, and Setiens. We still paid managers way too much.

We have 17 or so execs on 300k/yr each according to stories last week. Way more than necessary and money that could go towards Alemany.

Then we have the 25m/yr proposed Messi offer (+whatever else will be thrown on top). Supposedly Messi brings more than his cost YET we could not afford his renewal before

So we have the money, while also being in financial ruin. We just choose to prioritize it's allocations in perhaps the wrong places.

Rumors that Deco will take over. Brilliant. Let’s hire an agent who has no experience being a sporting director to be our sporting director… What could possibly go wrong?

🚨🎖️| It was difficult for Alemany to understand how Messi would return when Gavi, Balde and Araujo are not registered and an additional €200M needs to be reduced. Laporta asked for calm [@tjuanmarti via: @forcabarca_ar]

So are we going to believe Alemany doesn't want Messi to return, but not believe he wanted to sell Frenkie and let Dembele walk for free last summer?

We picking and choosing whatever we're comfortable hearing at this point?

All can be true.
But there is a difference.
He wasn't opposed to Dembele staying on sporting level ,as it is with MEssi.
He was irritated by Moussa sissoko's antics in the negotiations.
Totally different story

The fact that he leaves now, and not last summer when the Dembele/FDJ issues were at stake, is telling.
The club is sinking, and one of the prime reasons is Laporta's personal agenda and his obsession with bringing back a done legend

You agreed with Alemany that Dembele and FDJ had to go and slaughtered them when didnt happen did you not?

Now acting like Barca have given up a top SD who had any influence.

I agreed that Sissoko's antics in the negotiations should be punished
and I agreed that FDJ exorbitant salary should be reduced by all means

Nothing to do with the sporting aspect of things.
Dembele is top3 winger in the world, and should stay at Barca hands down
FDJ I still have my doubts, but he is a top player for whom a market will always be there

Nothing like disastrous sporting decisions like bringing Messi back that will sink the ship for good
