Don't see a problem with him being cocky, even if it's true. Some of the best players in the world are cocky. What matters is if he delivers on the field. If he delivers, he can be cocky as much as he wants, while being professional. Cocky doesn't mean undisciplined and unprofessional.

This is simple. When he played, he showed quality and desire to work hard on the field. So, whatever his attitude is, his performances seem to benefit from that, not suffer from it.

Normally, bad attitude is translated into bad performances.

Yea, if anything I'd be glad if he shows some boldness and cockiness, as long as he doubles that up on the field through performances and commitment. I personally put him into Schoolboy camp by default.

It is not good if young players come in and show arrogance to point pisses players and manager off.. if that is even true.

Does have that air of thinking he is a bit of a start but cant read too much into that really.

Depends. Arrogance is often confused with confidence. Koeman is far from a saint too btw, it's documented already.

They are also very closely linked and acting arrogantly if not backing it up or having stature wont go down well in any changing room and work against him.. if that is what he is doing.

For me he was clearly the best midfielder with the few minutes he played at end of last season. So he must have done something for Koeman to freeze him out of the team. Shame really.

He should have went on loan. Getting to 22 soon and barely played any minutes bar lower division Spain.

Even if felt hard done by.

Should go on loan and shit on Cowman.

After he's on loan he should say that Cowman ( piece of shit for obvious reasons ) is a piece of shit for obvious reasons and he won't come back untill Cowman leaves

Maybe he told the senior players to run more off-ball, release the ball faster, and play with more heart and desire. Probably pissed them off that some little runt is telling them how to play.

Its hurt to give a top2 midfield player of the team on loan while having turtles like Pjanic and Busquets.

Puig after saying this:

He will not be fighting them for a place he will be up against Pedri/Coutinho and to lesser extent Messi/Griezmann.

Puig is formerly false nine and attacking midfielder and Koeman if doesnt trust him all that much is not putting him at DM.

Regardless from Puig point of view it is better to be playing.
