Of course he will want to stay.

Has no ambition to be a footballer past the attention he gets from deluded Barca fans that think he is a player.

Bye Riqui. :( Gonna be very interested to hear from either the club but especially from Riqui once he leaves next season (even if only on loan (but after tonight it might be permanent after all) you usually hear some juicy behind the scenes once the player leaves, just look at Pjanic and Koeman) on what tf went wrong for him, that he couldn't play more than garbage minutes even under Xavi, who remember, said Riqui would start in his team, back when he was watching us from Qatar. Granted, there were no Gavi and Nico at that time, and Pedri wasn't as established as he is now, and Xavi did say this too, but still, two of them aren't available tonight and he still doesn't get to play, even to the point of Xavi changing formation just to avoid starting him.

Really really hoping this kid doesn't become our next Thiago in 5 years time.

A player that passes to a teammate that is literally one step away from him (Something that is Mavericky's specialty), is a stupid player and will never have an even mediocre career

There is no point into going into all his other flaws.
That alone is telling

 Did you never watch Pep's Barca? You've just described the majority of tiki taka passes by Xavi/Iniesta/Busquets/Messi/Alves/Pedro. And sometimes you pass for no other reason than to keep the rhythm. Also, that means you get two views of the field as the players are exchanging the ball back and forth. Either one can take the initiative if they see something in their field of view. The markers have no idea which way the play is going to progress.

1:33 for an example of rhythm ball.

Vid not loading. Send it again.

then, no
LOL
Xavi Iniesta would only do that once in ten or more sequences of play, and only if there was NO better option available.
or prime Messi would only do that to start one of his mazy vertical runs with the ball

How could you compare that to dummy mavericky who is passing to the closest player to him like an automaton, with no realization of where the rest of the team is, where the passing lanes are, where the opposition is?
Hubris!
