Considering his contract only runs until 2023 it's probably best for him to leave. Even with just the current squad he won't stand much of a chance to start ahead of Ferran, Fati or Aubameyang at LW/CF.

Not worth it to renew him and i doubt he'd like to sit on the bench all the time. All in all was still a good transfer for free at the time imo. I don't really like seeing players leave after such a short time but i this case it doesn't make much sense to continue.
