Waited long enough? WTF. He should have waited like Messi when the club was in a crisis if his so called catalan love is so strong like every1 seem to think.

dude he used to be the highest scorer (more than 30 goals) during his time on BARCA`s youth time , yet he didn`t get a chance on first team , not BARCA`s fault , because we had potential , not his fault either because his work was to score and he did that very well , but yet he didn`t get chance for obvious reasons , his parents left each other , he was having financial problems, he wanted 2 start his career , what`s your point ??? But it is for sure that someday he will return to his hometown will play for childhood club... don`t question his blood .

Plus the fool him self extended his contract with Arsenal. Lets not get into Cesc's 'dream' to play for Barca while his actions says something else. Try harder next time Cesc, Ozil is all over you!

And an extension signed in 2008 which keeps him with them till 2015 when he already had it set till 2014! Talk about his greed!!

Sure, you extend your contract for a ridiculous amount of year and better salary, you then become a captain, then your team failed again and again, you then declare that you have a greater love for your boyhood club and you want to play along side your old mates again. The club then try their best to fork our a ridiculous amount of money to sign you. Good business eh? And im not questioning his blood since his parents are catalan. Bringing blood into this matter is simply lame.

Reza Fazeli (agent of Mesut Ozil): "Mesut is a Barça fan since he's 12 years old."

Whoever gets Ozil is going to get a hell of a player. My only concern is that he's blown up so fast and there are so many expectations he may never live up to it. Jumping for Bremen to Barcelona is a massive jump, and obviously he isn't guaranteed first team opportunities. If he is assured a first team place at Barca I'm sure he heads your way.
