Mohamed Salah

Salah is not lacking media exposure at all, lol. He is a huge figure in the Arab/Muslim world and the main star of Liverpool which are a heawyweight in terms of having a truly global fanbase. Sporting wise he has been way ahead of Neymar. Anyway exposure should not matter at all. Beckham used to have more exposure than the greatest footballers of the time when he was wasting his time playing for freaking LA Galaxy in the MLS.

Salah is a great player and I recall me wasting us to buy him and writing it on this very forum during his loan spell for Viola in early 2015. What a bargain he has been for Liverpool. If Liverpool won?t win anything again I could see him wanting to leave England altogether for a new experience. I recall him always having nice words to say about Spain.

Sporting wise way ahead of Neymar? How? Neymar has won more in his career.

Don't think there is any debate about who is the bigger brand and how many people would rather watch Neymar than Salah.

Since 2017. Just added that before your reply. Yes, Neymar is the greater talent, had the higher career peak (MSN and all), is the bigger brand, won many more trophies etc. Which makes his decision to go to QSG and him flopping for club and country ever since even more tragicomic. The fool should never have left as it further destabilized Barto?s mental well-being and decision making while further destabilizing the club overall and partially contributing to the current disaster that we find ourselves in.

The circus would have never ended if he had stayed. He and his father are just too greedy.

Unfortunately all the money we got for him went down the drain.

He would have gotten Malcom treatment under EV if he came here instead of Liverpool and would have never became anything good, happy for him

Salah's goal today was pure trash, he should have ball hogged it into the corner flag and stunk up the place like my mayne Neyney did the other week.

I love watching my mayne Neyney every week in the uber eats league. I get excited in anticipation waiting to see his new goal celebration!

Meh, nobody gives a fuck about Salah(aside Liverpool or African fans). It's not as if he won the Ballon D'or or something.

Neymar just didn't fully fullfill his potential. Otherwise he will always be remembered as a great player, unlike Salah who doesn't have the same exposure.

Absolutely bizarre comment. Neymar has been a nonentity since he joined PSG compared to what he was at Barca. Salah is way bigger and better as far as football goes. Neymar is better at attending parties, social media and haircuts I suppose.

Yes Salah was more successful in his Liverpool stint than Neymar in his PSG one. But still Neymar is the bigger brand and will attract more attention.

As Salah was a nonentity when you compare his career before Liverpool vs what Neymar achieved at the same age.

i've only just realized salah joined liverpool the same window neymar joined psg

one came back to the PL to prove doubters wrong after a failed spell, the other faded into memes, shadows and irrelevancy. the career trajectory and stats difference between them is insane.

and they're both the same age. what a differernce the mindset makes.

i'm not gonna even get started on dembele

Kind like Kluivert and Nistelrooy, who were born in same day but one started to shine when the other started to fade.

Neymar is a spoilt brat, Salah is not. Neymar has more talent and had a better career high with MSN but Salah is more reliable.
Yes, Salah is hugely underrated and it's not his fault that Egypt are not that good. Without Salah Liverpool would not be as effective. I remember him playing for that Swiss club in CL and thinking this guy has potential.
Salah also built his career impressively after Moaninho almost destroyed it. Went on loan and became a better player. Than had the balls and ambition to come back and play in the epl.
Wtf has Neymar done after Barca? Just collect a big cheque, get injured, sign a new contract. Rinse and repeat. Neymar lacks character and most of all he fucked this club big time. Salah is the better professional by far.

I'm talking about the present, not the past. Right now, Salah's stock is higher than Neymar's.
