If he does go to Madrid it would probably mean the end of two of Vinicius/Rodrygo/Kubo

Neymar, Militao and another non-eu spot.

That would be unless Vinicius/Rodrygo/Kubo would accept being on loan for over 3 years.

Incredible.

I don't think he wants to go to Réal any more than he does to Barcelona. He has all his friends in Barcelona. The media release of Piqué is important. His son attends school in Barcelona. He wants to find the comfort he had in Barcelona, his friends in the cloakroom, and his son's daily company. It's at the PSG level that it gets stuck. There is clearly an ego war, especially around Neymar, and they will not facilitate negotiations with Barcelona. Barcelona has the advantage of having players who are of great interest to the PSG leaders. Coutinho has always been interested in the PSG but they didn't manage to get him. Dembele is adored by Tuchel and he's a friend of Mbappé. But the PSG needs a lot of money on the side to be able to amortize his transfer, +- 120/130M if he leaves this summer.

Neymar is in a battle with the PSG. The leaders will not make it any easier for him and see their interests first before Neymar's to go to Barcelona. If Barcelona really wants him and Neymar really wants to go to Barcelona, your board must make an effort to satisfy the PSG (the money needed for amortization and the players they are really interested in). If so, the PSG will also have to put his ego aside to let him go to Barcelona, but first the PSG must be satisfied. Everyone can come out of the transaction satisfied, but you have to put feelings aside. If Barcelona absolutely wants to pass in force and push Neymar to the fault, it will simply rob the PSG. The stakes are too high for both clubs to proceed in this way.

If Neymar truly wants Barca, he should come out and say it in public. This will make negotiations with PSG much easier. Instead, he's keeping quiet so this tells me that he's open for a move to Madrid. If so, then fuck him. Barca already made an effort in trying to get him and Pique's press conference the other day clearly sends a message to Neymar that he should come out and say that he wants to come here. Its all in Neymar's hands and I wont be surprised if he chooses Madrid.

PSG can't be satisfied because Barcelona doesn't have the funds simple as that. They blew potential Neymar money on Griezmann. It has to be a swap deal, there is not other way and thus an impasse with PSG. Some club has to take the L and it should be PSG or else they'll take a bigger L this season with drama, team destabilization, and yet another R16 CL exit.

Not apathetic but they don't have the means to get him here. Like I said PSG needs to take the L and just let him leave. It does mean they'll probably ignore and not do business with us if we go for M'bappe in the future though.
