Neymar has been shown to play as a central striker, false 9, or even in midfield if need be.

Correct. I feel, or have to assume rather, due to some of these comments that half of the people here barely watch the Brazilian league, hence barely watch Neymar and just repeat what other people say without proper knowledge to come up with an opinion of their own.

With that said, Neymar is indeed an immense TALENT. One of the best players in the world- no, very good yes, but no. The Brazilian league isn't nearly as bad as some of you say it is, but there is a lot more space there compared to Spain in particular. However you can't knock Neymar for his play, he can dribble and shoot with both feet and I love the heavy first touch as he uses his speed to sprint past defenders....really haven't seen that done so gracefully since Ronaldo do Brazil.

I hate the diving and I hate the way he celebrates, but his general attitude has improved and is not bad. He is a very hard worker on the pitch and the kid gets hit over and over again and he just keeps playing his game. I still see him as the best pure young talent- he just really needs to leave Brazil already so his game can develop, he needs to start adapting to tighter European formations. The only other young player I find exciting to watch and oozes with class when it comes to his movement and touch is Isco for me, but we already have a lot of talent in his position

No way to be certain of whether it's actually true or what it may mean but Onda Cero claimed a high profile real estate agency in Barcelona is house hunting for Neymar

Neymar (Santos): "Guardiola is a great coach. I'd like to work with him one day, because of everything he did at Barcelona." [ovacion]

If Pep goes to city, Neymar follows then :pep:

I really hope we don't go for him this summer. There are reasons for that.

1. Iniesta is being nothing short of phenomenal playing in LW, so i hope he get's atleast another season there.
2. Iniesta playing upfront, means Fabregas gets to be a starter and the likes of Thiago and Sergi would be getting more opportunities
3. There is the possibility of Gotze setting the Bundesliga on Wild fire the following season, which could finally turn :rosell: head towards the real deal.

I really hope Rosell sees more than just the Marketing side of it.

I agree with all of your three points!

Gotze has got nothing on Neymar. And secondly Rosell won't go for him this summer, Neymar will stay in Brazil until 2014. I'm gonna laugh when we see Gotze fail and Neymar rule during the World Cup.

BLASPHEMY!
Your obvious bias makes that statement that much more laughable. Has NOTHING on Neymar? Oh please
They play different roles anyway. I think I can safely say you don't watch Gotze play very much.
There is talent outside of Brazil you know.....:pep:
