Nah...if he comes I think he will be very humble and willing to play his part. I'm sure there will be instances where he keeps the ball and tries something where as another player would play it to messi...but I just hope it works for the best lol. I think he will do well here. Just not sure how well yet.
Honestly I WANT someone else to hog the ball a bit, I'd WELCOME it. When Villa first came he was working hard, being a team player but also carried over the confidence from his prior success that made him take his own chances as well. I want someone else that isn't afraid to dribble into space when there is an opening or to take a chance taking on his defender when we need a goal. I'd take Messi scoring 55-60 and Villa/Pedro each scoring around 20 over Messi scoring 70 and both scoring jack shit. It drives me crazy when Tello shoots instead of making the obvious pass but thats mostly selfishness/inexperience, but when it's a dump it and hope for the best pass....I rather have someone just shoot it.
Sanchez has no confidence what so ever and has been totally useless. Tello has already been figured out because when it comes to 1 vs 1 he's a one trick pony, luckily he has some other talents as well. Pedro is great when in form, jack of all trades but not great at anything.
I want someone that can take on defenders, someone that when he gets the ball the opposing defense shifts towards him because they actually believe he's a threat. Neymar might be able to do that for us. Not to mention he's a great passer and has good vision too. He might have freedom at Santos but he plays a lot on the left wing as well.
Either way we need a goalscoring winger- Neymar is one of those and there aren't many out there. Aguero could be that for us, but I feel like it'd be like sticking another Villa out wide. There are a few question marks over Neymar's head but lets not pretend like he doesn't know exactly what he's walking into. He know's he wont be number one at Barca, it's kind of impossible for him to think otherwise. He knows how we play and that he'll have to work hard to play here.
Ibra had an ego far worse than Neymar and honestly, he was a saint both on and off the pitch compared to when at his other clubs. I'm excited to see how it turns out.
