o
Anorexic ?
He needs to workout a little bit before coming in Barcelona.

Is he a vegetarian or an aneroxic teenager? He's clearly weaker then a toothpick. It will be interesting to see if this guy is a hardworker. He needs at least 5-7.5 kgs of muscle to play in Europe.

If he needs to put on muscle then he will, it's not a problem. The Barca management will give him a good diet. Regarding his price tag we should look at Madrid. They have payed huge amounts of money for players. 90 million for Ronaldo etc. Now look at them, they are the richest club in the world and will be one of the most dominant clubs in years to come. We stand to make a lot of money from this Neymar deal.

Its almost like some people in here HATE this guy and wants him to be a flop if he comes here, for no sensible reason. Its even more shocking when you consider that this guy hasn't said anything bad about FC Barcelona and even somehow turned down RM. I am confused. Do we want our club to grow or diminish?

All right, than how about the guys brought up on the previous page? Alba, Iniesta, etc. Fact is, it's not so much how big you are as it is how much you want to stay up.

Did you really mean that? How do you explain what happens when Puyol ( who is a Lion BTW) bumps shoulders with Benzema and Puyol almost always, ends on the floor? Benzema is a huge guy and a very strong one too. . . Has more body mass than Puyol and is a lot stronger due to him being younger (There are younger guys who are weaker. . . . But you get the point). Its not about your will or desire to stay up. . . Its your body mass, strength and sometimes leg muscles that determine who stays up.

Well, size does play a part obviously, but it's not as important as people make it out to be. Messi is normally one of the smallest on the pitch, but you won't have a fun time knocking him down.

Barcelona plan to pay 45M for Santos attacker Neymar (21). Real Madrid made a 100M bid, but Barcelona would already have pre-deal. [sport]

Very true. However, you do realize Messi "is" built to play in the European league right? He has Nutritionists and fitness experts telling him what to eat and what not. Some people even argue that his medical history as a child (due to his growth defect ) gave him some sort of advantage. Remember the first time we all saw Antonio Valencia at the 2006 world cup he was a little bigger than Tello. . . Now he has a physique that would rival Benzema's or even that of Papadopoulos

Exactly and Neymar will receive the same help as those players.

Ramires seems terribly anorexic too but he never goes down easily (and he makes Yaya style runs which attract tackles all the time).

I worry for him if we do sign him and he faces thugs like Alonso, Arbeloa, Pepe and Ramos they will break his legs, needs to bulk up a bit should be at least Iniestas physique I think

Yeah, I was laughing at the Sport guys. I mean, do they really think that people who read their newspaper are so damn stupid?

I think he is a bit "tired" of playing there. He has no player to link up with. He would boss the game with Iniesta/Messi around.

btw very nice golazo (7:30)

Amazing goal, but half the video was Neymar acting like dying soldier at the ground.

wow-brazilian defences really are shitty. No positioning, no tackling. Just ball watching.

That's not even a 4th division team, they only play the cdb, regionals and sometimes qualify for the serie d, but not since 2010. They're pratically amateurs. Can't judge brazilian defenses based on that.
