Nico Williams

Coman on 18m gross at Bayern, one of their highest paid players. Seeing the wages of Olise and Palhinha, they are clearly trying to restructure and lower the bill.

Maybe we should try a cheeky bid for Tel and leave them footing the wagebill. He got a bit of that Nico mould.

There is not a club in Europe that thinks Raphinha is better than Nico.. as per your point.

Nico is another level for what the team needs.
Second chart is Raphinha, first is Nico. Another level in what? Hype by brainless morrons, Mundo? He has progressive carriers and take-ons to nowhere( shot creating actions) and that considering he plays for Bilbao that has plenty of space.

Isn't he like injured a lot of the time?

Nico, Yamal, Raphinha would be a great rotation for a year or two. Yamal's minutes have to be managed. But longterm ofc Raphinha would be oout.

Sadly won't happen, at least not now.

That's the target. Something to allow us to switch from 4-2-3-1, and 4-3-3, and to provide good coverage in a 4-3-3 if we have a bad injury.

Also, something to not make the pressure for Nico very high from day 1 if he comes. We sell Raphinha, and if Nico + Yamal don't produce a great season despite their age, we're cooked in the league.

People have short memory, but the main reason why we won the league that season with Xavi, was Raphinha scoring clutch goals and providing assists in close games late in the season.

That + good defense won us many 1-0 and 2-1 hard fought wins in difficult games.

Williams seems far from the finished article, but he has a lot of potential. Whether he fulfils that potential, at Barca or anywhere else, is a big if. But he clearly has much more scope for improvement than Raphinha, who's already 27 or 28 and likely won't get much better.

The question is if Williams is worth risking that he explodes.

One of the beat LWs in the world? πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€ We have 3 better only in Madrid. Boy has 6 goals in 36 matches as best league season.

and the 14 assists? + 8 scorer points in 6 Copa matches

guy is a pure winger and have everything you need for a winger + dont forget he is only 21

Leao LOL. Probably one of the most overrated players in Europe. Tore him apart a few times. Said he'd flop at the Euros and was proved correct.

Not Rodrygo either. He isn't even that good. Clear RM bias. If Rodrygo played for Barca Blanco would criticise him daily.

The rest are decent shouts.

Yes, but Raphinha brings your more certainty on short term. And the club has to produce now. You don't put all your eggs in one basket, and the basket being two teenagers having a full great season.

The pressure to bring in goals now should be on Lewa and Raphinha, not Yamal, and not Nico if he comes.
