Not really. Pedro may have botched a few counters (as did Suarez), but there's a reason the scoreline was 6-1 without Neymar on the pitch. The play is more balanced (even while missing Busquets and a crap first half by Messi).

I do not know how to convince you that you are delusional.

Neymar would have scored 2 or 3 easily today had he played. The reason why we scored 6 is because their defense was ultra piss poor.We played well but their defense was crap as hell.In the first half alone there were 3 occasions where the keeper was left alone to defend.Only one out of those 3 was converted by suarez and we scored 5 in the next half with even more chances that were easy to make than usual because of their style and defense.

I would write a lot to convince you but your bias is on another level.

And the others on the team would have scored less. Neymar is a soloist who is good on the end of the ball (most often delivered by Messi) in the box. When is the last time he created anything for others? The scoreline would not have been higher, probably less.

Yes, Pedro should have done better on the counters (as should have Suarez this game, and Neymar vs Villarreal). But he was also unlucky not to get better service from Suarez, and several other moments where teammates waited too long to release the pass. On the plus side, he keeps the ball moving MUCH better than Neymar does, which means more opportunities for his teammates.

How would they have scored less? Pedro was only involved int he buildup of a single goal. On the other hand, all those times Pedro was through on goal with only a defender or two two beat where he opted not to go towards the box and lose the ball instead would have almost certainly been goals for Neymar.

You love to keep bringing up other players messing up counters as if that's their only notable contribution to the game the same way it is for Pedro.

This has to be some of the most biased shit I have ever read on this forum.

Pedro makes Barca better than Neymar.

Mental.

TWO. Assisted Messi's brilliant 3rd goal, and started the move inside for Suarez's 2nd (and was there for the tap in, in case Suarez needed to square, or deflected)- both quick passes, and arguably positions where Neymar would have killed the ball and tried take-ons. Neymar is obviously the better finisher on balls played to him inside the box, but there is no question he slows the play down in every other situation.

A disappointing game for end product, but not as awful as most here make it out.

And you, somehow, think we'd have scored less? Perhaps if you take the two goals away that Pedro was involved in, then yeah, but if you take into account that Neymar doesn't suck with the ball at his feet and that Messi has an insane connection with him it would have, easily, been more.

His post-match interview seemed like he was pissed in general. Talking about seriously wanting to leave if things stay as they are for him, and shit like that, but that he is for now doing his best to give his all until the summer which is when he'll decide.

All of last season.

All of last season he was out best creator.

It's pretty funny that instead of talking about who played his game you want to talk about neymar with some negative spin

Yep, quite possibly, given:

1) Neymar is proven as likely to botch a counter pass opportunity as Suarez and Pedro did today.
2) Messi was in coasting mode, and not looking for opposite field crosses like he dumps to Neymar in the box a dozen times a game.
3) Neymar is more likely to go solo in the situations where Pedro was involved in goals.

Can't believe I came in here to see someone defend Pedro's performance, and yet to say he makes the team more balanced then when Neymar plays. You're clearly a troll, extremely biased or has absolutely no knowledge of the sport.
