And the others on the team would have scored less. Neymar is a soloist who is good on the end of the ball (most often delivered by Messi) in the box. When is the last time he created anything for others? The scoreline would not have been higher, probably less.

Did you forget last season? Neymar is a creator as well, this season he has a different role. And he is excellent off the ball, his runs behind defense are perfectly timed.

Because he is much poorer a provider than his teammates. It's not like he has no opportunities this season, he's just not terribly good at them. To be fair, he has created some that his teammates should have done better with, but that is true of pretty much every player. He's just far more likely to try to dribble than pass. That may be his instructions, but it's not terribly productive. His production comes from being on the end of things.

As was Pedro's today, where he rounded the keeper for a sure goal in the 6th minute, where the pass was released a split second too late (not Pedro's fault).

Suarez botched a counter pass opportunity, and a minute later Pedro did the same to Suarez. Both, like Neymar vs Villarreal, likely for selfish reasons of seeing if they could get the shot themselves. Other than that, Pedro had an assist and was involved in another goal. Of course, that means he was AWFUL.

Pedro was below average against Vallecano a team that plays offensive football no matter who they play so they'll leave tons of space. Pedro did nothing of note, how you can even discuss or try and convince other that he's a better complement to the other two is ridiculous. Neymar has been 2nd best player this season and has been a bit out of form lately, but Pedro has never played at the level Neymar was on earlier this season.

Pedro should be very grateful that he can be a benchplayer for Barca, his current level is similair to Sevilla/Villarreal/Malaga

I wouldn't say never, but certainly not in the past 3 or 4 seasons.

Who would seriously want to cash in on a player playing at this level. I heard he wants to leave barca because he is worried that he will lose his spot in Spain's team because he is on our bench.
No pedro, you will lose your spot on spain's team because you play like shit. He is shadow of himself at 22 years old

Pedro would have scored in the 6th minute when he rounded the keeper except for the pass being released a hair late by his teammate. He would have stone cold scored again in the 8th minute had Suarez squared. The only reason he's not on the score sheet with a brace is his teammates. He was where he was supposed to be.

Suarez's counter:

And Pedro (disappointingly) returns the favor:

I've always wondered why Berkeley defends Pedro on a regular basis. That's not even fanboyism, it's a new level.

We know that Berkeley plays sunday league football, he has mentioned it quite a few times. My theory is that Berkeley, as a football player, is the same type as Pedro - works his socks off, has got desire, runs a lot without the ball, but is too poor to execute something special. And his envy of more talented players mirrors in him hating and criticizing Neymar (natural talent, therefore doesn't need much work to excel). This might be true even without Berkeley realizing it, because it's in his subconscious; by defending Pedro he also defends himself and convinces himself that he's a decent player.

So, everyone, I suggest you to praise Berkeley's football ability and maybe, then he will stop posting his ridiculous posts concerning Pedro and Neymar, because with the exception of these kinds of posts he's a quality poster and contributes much to the forum. Amen.
