For all I care if they want they can paint the logo pink if it's sold in the Emirates only. No one gives a toss and UAE people probably won't be bothered.

Real has issued an official statement concerning Platini's recent comments about the Ballon D'Or. He said that a German player should win it (as well as in 2010 a Spanish player should've won). Here are some quotes (from @English_AS)

Real Madrid have expressed surprise at Platini's "repeated statements" about his personal preferences concerning the Ballon d'Or winner.

Real Madrid: "Ballon d’Or is an individual award, and not a collective one, which is awarded annually to the best player in the world..."

Real Madrid: "...those involved in [Ballon 'Or] election should only take into account the individual professional merits of the players."

Real Madrid: "We believe without any doubt that @Cristiano Ronaldo has produced the best professional year as an individual in his history."

In history...............

This is reaching North Korea proportions, won't be long before they say he came down from the sky as son of poseidon and aphrodite to conquer the world with the power of a thousand suns.
A lot has change since he was crying about the lack of support after Iniesta won the best player of Europe award in 2012.

Ronaldo and his campaign have made this whole award cringeworthy.
It was usually only talked about the day after and everyone was respectful about it, but because of this insecure narcistic idiot who only cares about his own glory it has become a circus that gets way too much attention.

Then why Ronaldo win the Ballon d'or last year? Outstanding performance in World Cup playoff?
Yes and because of Blatter and his backfiring joke and Messi's injury.

Look how often was said: "But he beat Sweden!!!" in a fucking playoff though, after initially failing to qualify.
Its like some supposedly once in a generation type prodigy fails an exam that should be really easy for him, aces it the second time and get mad praise for it.

this is pathetic in some way, but in some way it's great. at least they are protecting and supporting their player, unlike barca's case with messi or any other player.
