Pep Guardiola

These people are the same people that showered praise after praise when was Pep doing his thing. People who unanimously thought that Pep was the best thing to happen to the club. Now they're calling him names and questioning his achievements? Now that doesn't give a good impression about the type of fans they are.

Hahah of course there's reason to take moral high grounds! What if this Pep-less, Thiago-less Barca, A Barca thats almost completely distant from that under Pep, becomes successful?

How many people are questioning Peps achievements at the club?

You seem to be making an argument that is not there.

People can say what they feel about Peps behaviour at Bayern or are we supposed to carry on supporting him?

What is your point?

The fact he is lying through his teeth right now just to hurt the club (more Rosell than the club) is just sad to see.

I never thought there would be a day I hated this man.

Hate the guy for what? For telling the truth?

"But there have been too many things this year that just crossed the line. Using Tito Vilanova's illness to hurt me, that, that I will never forget.
Because I saw Tito Vilanova in New York. And if I didn't see him more, it's because it wasn't possible. But not because of me.
And to imply that I don't want things to go well for a colleague who I worked with for so long and who has helped me so much, that is just in very, very bad taste.
I didn't expect it. From any of them. When I was at Barcelona, and I want everyone to know this, I did the best I knew. The best I could. With all my will."

Pep is claiming that Rosell is leaking a story that claims Pep talked to Neymar and his father about how he thought Tito couldn't play Messi and Neymar together. Which is in fact a lie. It was a Brazilian outlet that first leaked the story. He's clearly lying through his teeth right now.

Why is he lying?

Why wait to bring up the other stuff until now? Very convenient to bring up these other claims right when you are getting ready to take advantage of a clause in one of our player's contracts.

Don't be so naive, my fellow Cules. Pep has done a lot for the club but he's out for Pep Guardiola first and whatever suits him first.

Makes me sick to my stomach.

So many childish and disgusting posts today. And coming from people I would have least expected it to come from. Such fickleness, such immaturity.

These are the facts:

Tito didn't play Thiago enough to keep his buyout clause from dropping to 18 million.
FCB are making no efforts to keep Thiago - no improved contract offers, no promises of better treatment or more playing time, nothing - they never even said they'd like him to stay.

How anyone can take these facts and distort them to such an extent that Pep or anyone else except Rosell and Tito ends up being the asshole is beyond me.

Why do you keep asking me what my point is when it's clear as day light?

Why is Pep the enemy? Your reactions to this are completely knee-jerk. You clearly lack the historical understanding of the whole Pep vs Rosell scene. It's been going on for a long, long time.

As DonAndres said, and btw he's been making some great points...

Enough trying to grill me with points that really turn a blind eye to the obvious. I could just as easily flip this on to you. What evidence do you have that Pep is our enemy and that Rosell is suddenly some great president who is the real champion of the club and has improved us?

Where have I said Pep is the enemy?

You just come across as thinking you know much more about the situation than everyone else when in fact you dont.

Enlighten us on this Pep v Rosell history that you know so much of.

How is it Tito's fault?

Management can be blamed for not notifying Tito or Roura that Thiago needed to be played a certain amount of minutes or that a stipulation kicked in where we could potentially lose millions on a transfer.

The contract and the stipulation was signed when Pep was still the manager. Tito never signed off on such a deal, Pep and Rosell both did.

Pep is now years later using that very stipulation to strengthen his current club. How is he not an asshole for doing this?
