Improvin' Perfection!!
I can't believe that someone who calls himself a cule can actually say something like that, especially after watching Pep's last year with Barca, when he was more tactically inovative than when we won the treble. I can deal with people calling him a bad coach, a bad person or even a bad cule, but I can't accept people implying that he didn't gave his all while he was at our club. If anything, he gave too much and I can only pray that every coach that Barca has from now on will be as 'unprofessional' as Pep was.
"I can see him being an asshole... but to be unprofessional to the very club that gave him his life? He is definitely not that IMHO"

does that ring a bell?
I did not say that I doubt he was 100% sincere in his last year... I said people might say so, that being pragmatic I wouldn't straight away rule out that possibility either, but that knowing Pep I was sure that's not what happened! See that part in bold is what I said

So Pep not only that he knew from 2011 that he will coach Bayern, he also knew that that they will humiliate us and win the CL in the process. For someone who doesn't believe in God, he certainly looks like he has his powers. I guess that in your opinion, if he would have loved Barca he should have chosen to coach a team like Eintracht Braunschweig.
He did not know that Bayern were gonna be the world beaters but he sure damn well knew he was heading there the following year... He knew he was heading there even when he was coaching our team in his final year... Do your research before entering the war of words with people! Uli Hoeness himself said Pep wanted a meeting with them back in July 2011, they did meet and that Pep showed his interest in joining their club...

Fascinating ability to create strawmen and absurd connections.

I'm writing that I'm disappointed that Pep left when Real Madrid were turning into a 100 point force and slowly started to turn the Clasicos around as well - you are educating me that we have lost the league against the likes of Real Sociedad.

I'm writing that I'm disappointed that he didn't leave on a high note à la SAF - you're making a weird comparison between SAF's and Pep's CL titles.

I'm writing that Pep as of 2013 is probably the most popular person in Catalunya and people won't spite him for anything - you're throwing me polls from 2008 in my face when people were asked to choose between one of the best managers in the world or a Barca B coach.

I'm writing that I'm irrationally bitter that he's coaching Bayern - you're actually trying to argue against it.

pep is a legend, we wont see that kind of football the next 100 years, with i had the feeling, we can trsh every opponent by 3-4-5 goals, when he left it was gone

Pep is a coward, tbh. He went from Barca to a team better than Barca, he didn't challenge himself at all. I was so curious about him after he left Barca, thinking he'd look for a club where he'd get a nice challenge and be forced to build a successful team. But what did he do? He went to Bayern, where the league is even less competitive than La Liga was when he was around, a team that at the time of him signing on, had made 2 of the last 3 CL finals(then goes on to make a 3rd final in 4 years and wins it too). He's at a team ready made for success by van Gaal and moreso Heynckes instead of him building something awesome. So, so disappointing. I'd like to hope for his next move he goes to a club where he has to create a great team at a club that isn't already the best in the world. The hardest thing he has to do at Bayern is learn German.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight, so let me get this straight. The most sought after manager in the world was supposed to deliberately choose a club that's not at the top of world football. Yeah, makes sense.

Lol, I wouldn't. How boring. I'd choose a team that's 2nd or 3rd and make them great, knock out the teams that are at the top and prove that I can win with a team that didn't already have 6 or 7 of the world's 10 best players in the starting XI. Going to Bayern is easily the weakest choice he could have made. Oh well, to each his own, at least he's going to have an epic trophy cabinet by the end of his career.

Since you claimed AfricanBavarian sounded butthurt in that other thread, I now proclaim you to be butthurt, since your grudge seems to be rooted in the fact that Pep chose Bayern over Chelsea.

Honestly, knowing Pep and how ambitious he is, I expected him to choose a club that is more shapable than Bayern and whose class would depend more on him and his philosophy. Doesn't matter if top of the world or not, just some club that he would have to make world-class, not one that already is world-class. That has nothing to do with Pep being the most sought-after manager, rather with his own ambitions. I can see why he chose Bayern, but it did surprise me a bit too.

You have to call to mind though the date when he signed the contract. That was BEFORE Bayern turned into a juggernaut.

Hahaha wow. Seems having an opinion on Pep that is contrary to what you think means I'm butthurt, but anyway. I just think Pep's managerial ability was overhyped at Barca, any top manager could have won the trophies they did during that same time, the only difference is Pep got them playing beautiful football. With that amazing team guys like Mourinho, Capello, Ancelotti, Ferguson, Conte etc etc could have won the same amount of trophies, with less attractive but just as effective football. I've always maintained that Pep still had something to prove well before he left Barca. I personally would have liked Pep to go to Italy(wouldn't have argued if he did go to Chelsea but I never clamoured for his signing), breathe some more life into that league(though it seems to be doing okay now), if he actually has that kind of ability to make a team that isn't the world's best into the world's best. It's not that he isn't a good manager, of course, but so far he's only managed teams where he just needs to sit on the bench and chuck a sub on here and there.

Bayern were well on their way to becoming that tbh, though I didn't think they'd become one to the extent they'd beat Barca 7-0, but having seen their ability first hand in 2012 they weren't far from becoming beastly even then. They weren't going to let their 2 epic CL final fails stop them, those guys were way too determined. Not only that Heynckes was awesome, and his team are still going strong.

Regarding Pep choosing Bayern, my take

1. Its not like Barcelona were on top of world football when he took over.

2 It is not an easy task, managing a treble winning team, right after their best ever season anyway.
