Regarding Pep choosing Bayern, my take

1. Its not like Barcelona were on top of world football when he took over.

2 It is not an easy task, managing a treble winning team, right after their best ever season anyway.

spot on, managing a team like Bayern with all the egos especially amongst the board and officials is very difficult and to be honest I can see Pep only staying for a couple of seasons as he will be worn out by all the politics again

1) Yes Barcelona were not the world beaters then but the team was still great containing 3 starters of the Euro champions, the most-promising youth who looked destined to be crowned the King of world football and two of the most fearsome strikers.

2) But it is still a great team and the name he gathered for himself should be able to nullify the egos of a team who dspite their historic achievement.

My point is that... from outside, it still looks like Pep has not opted for a challenge and instead did the easiest way.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight, so let me get this straight. The most sought after manager in the world was supposed to deliberately choose a club that's not at the top of world football. Yeah, makes sense.

Also he accepted the Bayern job before they won the treble, they choked in the CL finals(plus they had an easy path to the finals, except Real) and got ass whooped by Borussia,so yeah,he is a coward if he has powers of precognition, and could magically see that into the future that they were going to win everything...
And I think he would rather commit suicide than manage Chelsea.

This.

Its amazing to see how people have forgotten that he accepted their offer before they had won anything!

and btw... when Pep decided to join Bayern they were CL finalists only once(lost to Mou's Inter). Remember he met Hoeness, and expressed his desire to join them the summer of 2011 itself!

I've read about it, as well. Apparently, he's furious, and threatened that whoever leaked the information will be kicked out of the team.

Rummenigge confirmed the whole issue on TV today. Apparently Pep set an "ultimatum" immediately before the match; if it happens again, the one responsible will leave the team. Bayern, in the meantime, will "investigate" and deal with the matter "seriously".

This is not the first time Bayern-intern information was leaked to Bild, it was the same with the Götze transfer.
