I think Pep is on a wait and see mode. He wants to know if he can motivate himself and the squad this year or his time there is up.

He is not the best coach in the world when he need specific players to play his football and his spending without any sells is disgusting.

He will be shit in any club that doesnt give him unlimited amount (City, Psg) or if the club isnt clearly the best in the league (Bayern/Juve). But then he will be shit in CL.

Honestly if you don't think Guardiola had a huge influence on the best period of Barca's history then so be it, but he transformed a very disorganised and chaotic looking Barca and the next 4 years we were easily the best side in the world.

Henry was bought in the summer of '07 and had a very average first season.
