Sometimes Peps team dominate ball so well it is dificult to get it...

Real have done same v Peps City teams let alone ETHs side.

United to surprise everyone and challenge for the title this season. Then people are gonna take them seriously and they are gonna stop being a meme finally. Or they are gonna lose 3-0 vs Crystal Palace in the next period.

No way will Utd challenge for the league.

They don't have the squad depth, the team structure in the starting XI, don't have the quality to carry Onana.

They can make the CL spot though.

No shit. It's a disaster if they don't make CL 2nd season in a row.

Pep and Citys resources make it hard for anyone to challenge City week in week out in that league.

They wont even be looking at that and need to get into CL again.

There is more or less 1 CL place to play for would think... assuming Liverpool motor on.

If United had won it I'd have said it's just a pre-season friendly, doesn't mean anything, all about fitness.

But since City won it and United are on the wrong end of it I am gonna paint it as an important competitive game that sets you up for the season.

Football is great like that - you can spin it however your unapologetic bias so desires.
