If Rafa could stay fit, he'd be a top class player. You watch him play, you see he's Barcelona through and through.


Valverde said he's been 'enchanted' with what Rafinha has shown in training and in these first two games, something he said he couldn't see last year given he was injured. If an offer doesn't come in, I'd like to see him stay - I like him much better in that roaming midfield position, and he linked up with Sergi and Arthur very well.

Rafinha showed real quality in these two games. I would really like him to stay and become our 12th player.

He doesn't have a top speed sprint for a winger, but he does have good acceleration and dribbling skill so he's so much more suited as an interior in a 4-3-3 or the same role as coutinho did in a 4-4-2. If he stays (I hope he does), he'll feel like a new signing.

Busi, Raki, Roberto, Arthur, Coutinho and Rafa is a good enough midfield for the upcoming season. There is also Alena and some other B-team players like Oriol and Puig, that should be enough, all other should be sold.

He would be such an improvement as deep depth over Gomes, Vidal, D. Suarez and Paco. May be a better option at forward than Munir. Keep him, clean house for last year's deadwood.

Falcao lost his pace and mobility too which is why he struggled so much. Had to completely revamp his playing style.
