Understood . Two points . i ) Every Club has global recognition , not only RM . Still maximum of them gives infinite importance to their domestic league because it includes local prestige and what not . ii) So RM , every season focuses to win CL , CL is their highest priority above all & for last few season they haven`t won any , so you take the last few seasons as total failure of Real Madrid , is it so i.e 2004-05, 2005-06, 2008-09 , your liga tittle years ?

um well g is right about this tbfh BUT beastieboy don't forget that you have to outdo barca aswell not only global recognition but also outdoing barca in league and copa. so it's not like, fuck the league we'll go for CL it's more, we'll try with the league, if we outdo barca then we'll keep trying but ultimately it's CL that is the priority and will always be for Real.

that's also why madridistas are the biggest glory hunters.

We don't need a Local recognition we never did we are the most supported side in Spain with the most trophies , don't mix Barcelona statues with Real ...
If u think the CL is not a priority above la liga.. ask Capello,Del Bosque , Pellegrini ...and others ..

Yes Tiam but we also beat you when u did better in the CL .. we actually beat you when were a CL holder *under Fabio* ..
the world look @ the liga as a two horse race the benchmark for recognition is Europe and u know that now that u tasted 2 CL in a small span of time
If u make a poll within any Madridista and make them chose the choice is clear.. it's the CL

League is a Marathon not a sprint so u have 38 games and u can screw up in one week and recap it .. CL especially the KO u don't have that u make a mistake and you are out

Although i like CL more, it is very little representative of the best...
Last year CHelsea according to the results was not among the 8 best teams, just among the sixteen..
But if you look it over, they were actually the third better side (After Barca and Inter, better than Bayern).. They were just unlucky to pick Inter in the draw..

It's called European Champions league , you have a mix of both ..yes u can be lucky (look @ your draw in 2005 .. only Milan and Arsenal were crap in the league that season ) but it's a draw lucky not your game
League have at least 14 teams below par compared to the CL .. and in la liga case it's now a case of you have 18 teams below Real and Barca.. something everyone know so it's not a reflection of strength at all .. it's a marathon and you are allowed to fuck up several times.. not in the CL
