Anyway this all clearly shows how badly we need Neymar. His hair can stab the refs.

You had Xavi who was effective, something happened.

Could he...have possibly...

noo...

No wayyyy....

Xavi???????????

Seriously??????????

Xavi might be dating a girl???

Nahhhhhhhh....

I don't really see what Pep and Rosell could do. It goes without saying that the capital club has more influence in the Royal Spanish Football Federation than the "independentists". Complaining day and night wouldn't change a thing other than make us look like sore losers.

What I hope is that Mourinho's strategy bites him the ass when the refs start getting sick and tired of getting abused, like it did on wednesday.

Things will improve once Mou's gone and it could be in two short months.

But as long as there's isn't any tangible evidence of corruption or wrongdoings, "adressing" will be reported as "complaining" by every media outlets aside from MD and Sport. Very few people will shed a tear because poor Barça is losing its crown.

There is though...

Look back on Ryan_Cule's post showing the official rule that if a referee is verbally assaulted the match ban is 4-8 matches, not 1-2 matches. It's right there plain as day is it not?

It's all in context too, JonM. If we create letters with the "victim" role, then yes we would look pathetic as Madrid do at times. If we create sound, solid letters showing proof of wrong-doing with no "pity" or "emotion" attached to it, how could that be considered complaining? You have to defend what is yours when you are attacked.

It's like if you went to war with another nation (think Castle/Moat days) and the army attacked your castle and were scaling your walls, and then saying to your army "oh don't worry about them, they'll eventually go away!" Do you get my drift? You will be overrun in no time...

I'm sure there is a strategy/method to our madness in remaining quiet for all this time, but it is concerning because we are now 6 points behind and some of that is due to our lack of standing up for ourselves. We rely on Pep saying indirect comments that have ZERO weight on anything "We can't complain" or something to that effect. We need Rosell & Co. to act like Presidents and not business men and defend the castle.

Ummm...Sport and EMD were notorious for their complaints and stories, but now they are dead because someone isn't using them.

But the Pepe decision has nothing to do with us (at least directly). No one is attacking our castle in that case. No matter how you word it, it will always be considered complaining. Now if next week Xavi is suspended 4 games for calling the ref "hijo de puta" (which he would most probably never do), then yes we should bring it up.

You do understand that we are playing in a same league ? You do understand if your rival gets favoritism in any sort that would be an indirect/direct minus effect on you ? You do understand the rules should be fair for everyone ? You do understand for the same offence kluivert got banned for 4 matches in 1999 when he was a barcelona player ? you do understand that not only Pepe , we have other visual evidences to show throughout the season Madrid got huge benefits from the referees ? you do understand that we are barcelona fans and we do get hurt and get angry to see this happening against us ?

It certainly does have everything to do with us though. Little by little, their influence in Liga games translates to effective persuasion so that when a clasico does eventually roll around, the refs are forced to down play every RM dirty tackle/foul. We've seen it time and time again in clasico's where RM should have ended games with 8-9 players and instead walk out with 10-11.

It's ridiculous.

The current state of La Liga is so embarrassing as a fan.

No the complaining wasn't because Madrid's cards were revoked or rescinded (is this the word?) it was because Barcelona do not get the same. Real Madrid and Barcelona always appealed cards, and a lot of the times they succeeded.
