It is one thing to over pay in cash, as in generated loans, but to shoot ourselves in the foot by valuing our own players at the lowest possible price is criminal.

That deal of Robben + Sniejder + 17 million cash makes us look desperate. The deal could at the very best be one of those players + the 17.

Sniejder would do an excellent job playing in the left side of the field with players who roam the field with lots of energy not being restricted to one side, especially when he is able to run towards the goal on his stronger leg.

We look at Xabi and are willing to spend over the odds when we have Sniejder who can play next to Diarra and pass the ball around very well. Not he is not as dynamic as Xabi but at least he is ten times better on the ball/dribble, and his passing range is excellent as well.

well Bayern evaluation for Ribery is 64 Million
so this means Robben and Sneijder equivalent to 47 Million Euro

and Sneijder is not Xabi two different players completely

While I would hate losing Sneijder... how much would you value them?

We paid what, 30M for Sneijder? He was worth it at the time but hardly now after that injury, he hasn't been the same. Robben never was worth that much money, Calderon was insane to pay 33M for him as he's worth 20 at best. Valuing Sneijder + Robben at 47M is maybe even a bit generous in my opinion, definitely not the lowest possible price. I'd still rather keep Sneijder though, give them Robben and some more cash if we must bring in Ribery.

Sneijder said that he wants to fight for his place, at least that is what I read. Having him is an asset and usually value goes up and down, considering he wants to stay I don't see why we should sell when it's value is low.
