Raul and Marcelo have confirmed that despite Barcelona's premature celebrations there's still a chance for the league but the team has to fight until the very end.

Raul Gonzalez has reflected on the remainder of the season and reiterated the positive mood in the Madrid camp. "Everybody in Madrid is supporting us, Barcelona will undoubtedly be more focused on the Champion's league final which gives us a shot at closing the gap," he mused.

Marcelo has also backed his captain and confirmed that nobody in the club is ready to give in. "8 points is nothing, with 2 games left for us to play anything can still happen and the title will go down to the final week of the season. There's always a chance, when you play for Real Madrid the word surrender is not part of your vocabulary."

is this a joke? :D i thought it was mathematically impossible..
anyway zzz

that's quite funny. but that dogged determination kept this title race alive way, way, way longer than it should have been. it's a very commendable spirit they showed in the face of true adversity.

let's try and be gracious winners though, eh?

this statement dates back to early May ... i don't who the hell made it dating on the 23rd .. it's funny and stupid @ the same time considering the 8 points & remaining 2 games = 6 points... some awesome journalism

just make sure u have a valid source for u'r new mate

Eduardo Garcia currently the only remaining candidate vs Perez has filed a law suite against the financial guarantee requirement on terms of social discrimination .
if the judge allow the motion that could see both Onieva & Martinez Bravo back in the race

And, what will they do afterward? Besides wasting time and money? What the hell are they on? Who have they secured?

According to Mourinho, 'the president', that being Perez, offered the job for four coaches and they all refused. Everyone is reluctant to take the lucrative offer, including Mourinho who admitted temptation.

All big managers will be reluctant to join for the obvious reasons
- Perez history as an unstable person is still in mind...
- in order to get goals u need a complete makeover and those who can help u reach that goal are with teams that might be/are reluctant to sell to Real

- some of the old names need to go to give the manager free hand (enter Raul Gonzalez ) ..

the problem with Perez is picking the obvious.. must successful teams choose an unknown/unexpected manager and reached success through them

SAF was with Aberdeen yes he did great but still from Scotland to England and one of the big team, Wenger was coaching in Japan before Arsenal brought him , Rafa was small team managers and Real Madrid B team before Valencia took him , Carlo flopped big time before he moved to Milan .. Capello was nothing before Milan, Jose before Porto, Pep and Barca,Del Bosque and Real.. see the pattern ?

now apply the pattern and look for suitable candidates .. 2 names will come up.. Laudrup and Blanc ..
