Ronald Koeman

Ronald Koeman: "We didn't miss many clear chances today, we only had one or two in the first half. I'm worried that with 2-1 we always want to attack, we have to know that we have to defend and control the game as well. We also lost balls..."

COWARD
Koeman: "I was thinking of playing with three at the back to control the game more defensively."

FUCK OFF

I think progress has been made on some purely football aspects (along the lines of what Horatio said above), but the huge advantage Koeman has over Xavi or any other coach that will stay for long is that Koeman can do the dirty job and then leave.
Reimposing the authority of the coach and principles, cracking the entitled sickening mentality of the Amigos and the dressing room.
Only guy he's imposing his autoritah on is Puig, because he looked at him weird way. This Koeman as a strong disciplinarian has turned out to be a myth.

I don t understand why he's still here.He is not the man who can't take us forward.Barca can't play 4-2-3-1.He is slowly killing all the Barca dna that was still in the team. And what he sees in Pedri and Trincao is beyond me.Trincao is Alaves level, Pedri not far off

BARCA DNA like Alena, lol.

Half of this board look like 12 year old kids with their debate to fire anyone or sell the entire team.

We are not in a position to do that, so grow up and face reality.
Bad decisions from 2017 onwards by our board members got us where we are now. Financially we are fucked (Messi contract and bad transfers) and sporting wise we are fucked (washed up players)

Accept the fact this will take multiple seasons to adjust, specially in these times, because the financial impact of Covid is still to come.
I?m happy to see a lot of youngsters in the team, altough this is forwarded by injuries. Pressure on the pitch is back and at least we are creating things.

Personally I couldn?t care about Puig, the dude is 21 and wasted his most important years by not wanting to be loaned. If he was such a big talent, he would be undoubtly a starter and half of EU top teams would be after him. It?s just another Bojan, Dos Santos.

Can't wait to see the back of Koeman and several players: Griezmann, Coutinho, Busquets and even Messi.

I know that the team is the worst in almost 20 years but it's better than any other team squad aside from RM and Atletico. To struggle so much against every team from the bottom is unacceptable. You'd think we encounter Bayern and Liverpool day in day out with the excuses lined up for Koeman and his "poor" set of players.

His subs, his change of tactics during the games where we practically play with 4 forwards and 2 mids, when we are chasing a result are mind-boggling. The worst part is that he persists in his thoughts.

If he wasn't a legend he wouldn't ever sniff this job and that's the truth about his level as a coach/manager.

Slowly but surely emulating his compatriot Van Gaal. Maybe that's his plan all along. Getting us close to relegation, gets fired, we appoint interim managers until Xavi/Rijkaard takes the position in the summer. 10 years later, we have 2 trebles and about 7 La Ligas in the bag.

🎙️[@gerardromero] | Carles Tusquets: ?I will not take anyone, at all. Besides, Koeman is doing well, he has a lot of criteria, he is committed to the youth academy and young people. He has absolutely all my support and he will always have it "

1-3 vs RM
0-3 vs Juve
2-2 vs Valencia

this guy's home record is abysmal. we are getting embarrassed at home regularly. imagine if we drew Bayern in the CL... would be worse than the 0-3 in 2013

What I find most amusing now (from a Real fan perspective anyway) is not that Koeman is getting mediocre results at best considering circumstances. The better part is that he took on the job by ditching a far better position to enter this cesspit and somehow try to save it while knowing full well that staying in the job beyond the next election/end of season will be a miracle. He's done so signing on with the most unpopular president in club's history who was looking for a panic solution to the situation that led to 2-8 without even paying the predecessor the release settlement.

And Cules giving him next to zero credit for having that mindset.

Love it.

why would we 'credit' that mindset? doesnt it just show he's an idiot, or worse? lol, the way you put it, it begs the question, why on earth would he? that's not really 'brave', (if this is what you mean by giving him credit). its downright foolish
