According to MARCA(Take with a grain of salt) Busi wants to leaving during the Winter transfer market but Xavi wants to him stay until the end of the season.

I love Busi but he is done. Been a legendary players in Peps days. Nearly everyone hated him and I was one of the 1% of people who defended him after Internazionale game.

Unless Barca can bring in another starting-caliber midfielder in the Winter, its better for Busquets to stay just because of the lack of midfield depth.
Right now the team has 5 first-team mids for 3 spots. Busquets leaving would mean 4 players for 3 spots, and Kessie really hasn't established himself either. An injury to one of Pedri, Gavi, or Frenkie would put the team in a tough spot.
