Because the fans/members voted them in, that's why. Everyone who voted for them is partly to blame for the shambles under them.

Because the members had a crystall ball and all of them knew exactly what was gonna happen if they voted for Rosell, right?

You live and die by the choices you make in life. Barca is a democracy. If the fans didn't vote them in they wouldn't be there.

Writing was clearly on the wall though...Rosell's reputation preceded him yet was voted in with a landslide...Corporate whore doesn't change it's stripes

That's true, but don't forget that the Barcelona members with voting right are very conservative. They'd rather vote for a crook like Rosell with a history at the club than for a completely new person who would do with Barcelona what Pep did with the team.

These "someone wants to damage us" conspiracies with hints at Real Madrid are embarrassing coming directly from club officials. They did the same with Neymar.

To be fair, this time the request (to investigate) was launched by RM + Valencia, while in the Neymar-gate it was initiated by one of our own socis. So this time they're correct to claim a conspiracy I think ;)

Had they not messed up everything then those things would have never standed a chance. The board's incompetence allowed the others to gain an advantage out of it.

The clubs which alerted the FIFA are unnamed, Valencia and RM are just rumours.

Ah, I thought it was common knowledge that it were Valencia and RM who started this?

The issue started some years ago under Llorente apparently, when Barca signed to 2 12 y olds of Valencia, and Valencia were very pissed off because of this. They reported it to RFEF and those didn't want to take action, so Valencia went to UEFA. For this, Llorente got help of his good friend Florentino Perez, so they bundled their forces to go to UEFA together.

Not 100% sure about this, but I thought it was fairly certain.

So? When you run someone over with your car it's the fault of the guy who called the police? Just follow the rules and there won't be problems. It is clear since at least February 2013 that Fifa was investigating this. Rosell's self-righteous and arrogant reply was: "I propose to change the rules." lolwhat?!

You mean Enric Martinez and Abel Ruiz?

Could be, but then so could other clubs. Valencia would be at risk themselves though, because they have a Korean just like we do. I don't know about foreign youth players in RM.

There surely are, the Angola kid that got mentioned some pages ago, and also an American 9-year-old. There'll be plenty of other examples no doubt.

Also this is a whole new level of incompetency. Bartomeu said that they KNEW a ban like this could happen. And yet they didn't precautiounary invest in defenders. Nevermind that it was a big need for years. It looks like the board is actually welcoming and has provoced this ban so they can save money for their new Camp Qatar. They don't even need excuses now for not investing in the squad.
