The guy who climbed cliffs bare handed without any safety gear? And also threw him self down the rope from these cliffs like on a bungee? Then yes. Also killed himself, while doing what he loves. A bit stupid, but still legendary shit.

What principles? Never seen someone apply double standards as casually as you here on forum. No sorry. Can think of two that do it more often.

Nah, not double standards at all.

In this case?

The principle that no athlete that benefits from male advantages should compete vs women in the women division of a sport. Quite simple. This is not about discriminating against these people but about protecting women sport.

You throw around words a lot, but if you inspect the issues a bit and apply a bit of logic... maybe you can see the issues.

Nah that's not him, though I have respect for guys that insane too.

I meant the guy who walked a tightrope between the twin towers in New York back in 1974, without a safety harness. And generally never used them. Google Man on Wire and you'll see.

It isn't climbing but it's all the same sort of daredevil stuff involving heights.

Me too, even moreso because I am very scared of heights. Even when I used to go to football stadia I could never sit in the top decks. I never did, had to be on the lower stands.

For guys to do what the climber you reference or the tightrope walker I do? I don't know how its humanly possible to be that calm and collected in those situations.

There are people, who simply have their "fright organ" neutered. Remember that movie with Jeff Bridges, "Scareless" or something like that. Either neutered or they are adrenaline addicts, for whom prospect of being at lethal danger actually winds them up and get all giddy. Probably a genetic thing.

Because it costs shit load of money in comparison to the amount she makes, and she will gain nothing from it. The IBF is about to get dissolved and IOC is asking National federations to start a new amatuer boxing federation to replace it, she would participate in the Olympics normally, IOC supported her decision.

Zero gains for someone to go on trouble to prove she is a woman, a humiliating process for her.

Most of those athletes in the region barely make a living from their sport man, a lot end up in poverty before retirement or even retire because of poverity and having to work another job to survive, in many cases that include Olympian champions.

And again, you think fighter with Y chromosome would lose 9 fights before the age of 25 from other females? That is laughable shiticks

I see you deliberately ignore the arguments. This is about a chromosome test, not about whether she lives her life as a woman or whatnot, as some try to imply.

This is completely irrelevant. This is about these athletes proving that they don't have male chromosomes, and hence the decision by IBA to disqualify them from competing vs women was abusive.

Sue IBA on CAS, win the case, get compensations and shame them for discrimination. All that side noise is completely useless and the persons that do it are the ones that don't have any solid argument really.

That's what it is about. Pure and simple. Not the gender she identifies with or wether or not she was raised as a woman, or what's printed on her passport.

Yeah true, some people just don't feel fear at all. Or they feel it, but not in these realms. I'd bet that Petit guy gets more scared (relatively speaking) driving on a motorway than walking tightropes on skyscrapers. Some people were just born to do what they do and are built differently in terms of these daredevil activities.

They are like real-life less exaggerated Ethan Hunts.

Haha.

And probably, it's funny that eh that people can do amazing daredevil activities but are probably scared of stuff normal people take in their stride.

Like you say, they're built differently.

Sue IBA on CAS, take the test, show the results, get compensations. All that side noise is completely useless and the persons that do it are the ones that don't have any solid argument really.

You are the one who changes the topic.

You said IBF made a chromosomal test, and then you yourself admitted it doesn't happen

They have to prove that she isn't a woman, or that she have a Y chromosome.

Until they do, she doesn't have to do anything. PLAN AND SIMPLE.

You make a claim, back it up.
You can't just ask people to deny it or else it is false.

And again, IOC asks for tests to be done, IBF allowed her to take Silver the tournament prior to it. All changed when she beats a Russian boxer FFS.

Again, she doesn't have to prove anything, it is the other way around

It’s conditioning. They only don’t feel fear (or subdued) cause they are used to it.

Of curse it happened, where did I say it didn't happen?

As said, the Lin Yu‑ting boxer did not appeal the decision, accepting it as valid. So even one of the 2 boxers flat out admited they failed the blood gender test.

You adress it as "it's expensive to appeal". It is, you need to make an effort, and then get the money back after the decisions is in your favor.

The main reason why suspended athletes don't appeal is because they don't have much of a case. So they'd rather save money given that you don't get trial expenses back if verdict is unfavorable.

But in order to be adrenaline addict there needs to be certain degree of fear no?

True, but how do you get 'conditioned' or used to it anyway?

I guess you start with small-scale heights and stuff, and then progress as you get more confident. Exposure therapy. On a smaller scale it's similar to how guys and girls learn to try the pole vault, which also looks a scary activity where a lot could go wrong there.
