Thiago Silva

it seems so although captaincy has switched several times
Thiago Silva has been absolutely, consistently dominant for PSG

the team picked true collective form only 3 games ago against Porto. Before that Thiago Silva was consistently the best defender and he was only little affected by the low-ish quality of play. Indeed Lavezzi has been injured / adapting / off his game; pastore has been straight up bad for three months, Nene is not playing, angry and leaving for sure this jan or this summer, Veratti is struggling though fantastic, Motta has been injured.

thiago silva, ibra and matuidi are having a world class season and carried PSG until 2 weeks ago. thiago silva was right to say PSG should go further than Milan (starting this season) because every player of the starting 11 have been excellent lately; even van der wiel!

ever since the team raised its game he is shining even more; his couple goals are cherries on the cake.

well a personality like Thiago Silva is someone that should be captain, and it seems after Mottas return they have found their best 11,still they need to adapt all together

Good stuff man, glad to see the main man T-Silly doing well, the guy has everything & is the biggest loss to AC Milan by a million miles, i love watching his game esp when he steps out & cuts moves before there even about to begin.

yep, he oozes calm all the time, GREAT positioning, never loses balance when defending. also seems like a genuinely nice guy. i did not watch him at Milan but he certainly lives up to his reputation

Why oh why didn't we buy this guy in the summer? It just seemed such an obvious move - best CB in the world, and PERFECTLY suited to our style.

Oh yeah I forgot, we have Masch + Pique and a 34 year old Puyol.

Silva didn't want to leave, we only really sold him as it was a way to get rid of Ibrahimovic also because of his massive wages, PSG originally just wanted Silva but we threw in Ibrahimovic while we were at it. Also it was a very high transfer fee.

But yes Silva would've fit like a glove in Barcelona's team but again i don't think he would've left had he not been forced and/or made it known that they wanted the money.

And don't forget that we got Song for half the market price of Silva .
