Thiago Silva

Getting him and Stegen or Courtois + perhaps an extra CB or Defensive minded back would be the perfect summer for us.

If we can buy him for a price btw 30 and 40 million, Let's go !!!!
Sandro shown that he knows how to buy an "expensive" player. I believe in him knowing that he can convince Thiago Silva to join.

Imagine that line-up :
--------- Ter Stegen ----------
Alves - T.Silva - Puyol - Alba
Thiago - Busquets - Iniesta
Alexis - Messi - Neymar

I seriously dont want a LB RB pair in Alba and Alves, better get one defensive minded player there.

Even if he's 29, if 40 million Euros puts you in prime position for the CL title that you've barely missed out on getting into the last two years, I think you do it. Clear example is Bayern with Javi Martinez, the guy probably already paid for himself this year, although he is younger so it was a great investment overall.

Don't really trust Tito, but if this club fixed it's leaky defense, even he couldn't fuck it up I suppose.

He is the best CB in the world, I can't think of anyone who is better than him, so if we can get him then we will be very strong defensively but I doubt he is for sale or Rosell will pay that much.

How is a team that's as rich as Croesus, and building for the future, going to sell us 'the best CB in the world' (your words)?

Not trying to sound arrogant, but
who would turn down Barcelona these days? (except players from our rival clubs)

Barca has historically been nice to Brazilians. Can't deny that. Although it has historically messed them up as players on the Selecao.

Sucks that they are taking the stance they are with Ancelotti. Well I mean good for them, but if he were to go, there's no way the could morally keep Silva there too assuming he wanted out.

Because he wants to win the CL once in his life? I have respect for what PSG have built there but that's just something that's not gonna happen in the next 5 years or so.

What did they build? Club sold to some sheikh who injects limitless budget. I have zero respect for such clubs.

Getting Thiago Silva is possible provided he hands in a transfer request.
