Well it's about the player fitting in and the team improving, and for every player you sign, irrespective of the team, you should have an idea of how they would fit into the greater picture. Tbh I'm not 100% sure Falcao would provide what we need, especially if we play without a 9.

That's true, and I'm not using Falcao as an example. I've seen numerous claims that a player who plays the exact same position we feature in our formation "wouldn't fit into Barca", as if some secret special powers for understanding our superior system were required.

The thing is, if we get a new striker, we need someone like Suarez/Aguero who can also play on the wing IMO. We can always move the new forward to the striker position and Messi to CAM when we need to, but we should play Messi in his best position most of the time IMO.

Again, what I sad had nothing to do with the Falcao statement, I was addressing the claim in general. I wouldn't know whether Falcao would be any good playing out wide, so I won't go into that.
