According to Barcelona media, Gerard Deulofeu has instructed his agent to find a loan move for him after the player was unconvinced at Vilanova's plans for him this season (first team/B team). Deulofeu believes playing mostly for the B team again would not help him progress. He doesn't want to live the same situation as Barta and Tello.

Dortmund, Betis, Valencia, Tottenham and Everton are most interested in his services.

Seems like every kid who can kick a ball thinks he ought to be a starter in a top-level team by the time he's 21 or so. So impatient.

Don't get me wrong, I also think a loan is the best option for him... but you see this every day. Even the Thiago saga is about this. He should have played more, but no young players nowadays are willing to sit back and wait for their shot. Everyone wants everything right now.

I can't really blame Deulofeu, especially when the shot of winning a good spot on the first team seems a long way away. Neymar and Tello are in their early 20s. Alexis is just now mid-20s. Pedro is mid-20s. Heck, Leo is still mid-20s.

These positions aren't opening up any time soon with the club unwilling to sell any of these players. Why should he sit and wait for an opportunity that may not come for 4 or 5 years? He is ready to play for a good club now.

But the kid's contract doesn't run out until 2017. If you were Roma, wouldn't you keep him for a couple seasons and then sell him for a similar, if not bigger price? I would.

I would take a good 19 year old defender (and Marquinhos looks to be a lot more than that) for 32 million in a heartbeat.
