Right then?...No, I agree with you, would prefer a pacy central defender with strength, size, exceptional man-marking and ability to play it out from the back...Tall order which I imagine isn't going to be easy let alone cheap

Oh Neymar, another wrong priority. Splashing that kind of money, could give us better alternatives then Neymar, by far....

Oh well, as long as we first get a decent CD, I'd be happy, after all we're talking about getting a CD for 4 years now, and have managed to get a central midfielder 2 times instead...

The annual budget without selling anyone is € 40 million. So just need to sell players for € 40 million, which is doable (Alexis + Tello for example).

Not advocating to buy Hummels by the way. For that price I'd rather buy Marquinhos and Abdennour and hope that one of them comes good. Hummels' fee is inflated due to Dortmund's success as a whole more than his own ability.

Feel like priority is wrong again, if we go for Hummels. Think we should find replacement for Puyol, not for Pique. Hummels is too much Pique for me.

We don't have other options ,if we tried to get Puyol replacement ,we might wait for a decade without signing a CB ,there isn't a perfect option in the market, time to accept that and look for a good compromise

Seriously ? buy 2 defenders and just hope one is good? like we did when we bought the likes of Caceras,Henrique ,Chirgrinsky ? Abdennour isn't barca quality ,and Roma doesn't exactly has the best defense and Marquinhos still needs experience and he will cost 25M for a player who just had one good season ?
Hummels unlikely will cost us 40M btw ,there is only 2 defenders in the history who cost that amount of money (Silva and Ferdinand
Hummels is the best option out there ,Yes he is like Pique and yes that isn't perfect ,but the other options are just worse
I doubt we will get both Neymar and Hummels ,it is one of them because of the cost
