You do realize that the management watch those players every day and know how good they are better than any of us,if they aren't giving them the chance ,then there is probably a reason for that
And Munisia is way too injury prone to count on him ,It is sad tbh b/c the kid was really good since a very young age and could have been developed much better w/o those injuries ,As for Bartra ,It seems we are gonna loan him next season ,which is a wise decision considering he is 22 already

Why would they want him? They have Vidic and Ferdinand who can still last another season, as well as Evans, Smalling, and Jones.

Because they're stupid. They have 4 centre forwards and are interested in Lewandowski despite the fact that nowadays, teams only play with 1 centre forward. SAF prefers playing them out of position over getting decent midfielders and wingers. I think what he ultimately wants to achieve is a team consisting of 6 CB's and 4 CF's.

As if it's so hard to win a league whose teams didn't even make it to the quarter finals of the CL. They're not nearly as good as Barca, Real and Bayern right now, and not even as good as Juventus and Dortmund. A team with so much quality in its squad should do way better than dropping out of the CL before the QF twice in a row, but what does all the quality help when they have so many players in one position that Rooney and Chicharito are constantly benched?

IMO, if we get 2 CBs, Marquinhos would be a good option to provide depth, and a more experienced CB should be bought to be the starter.

The question is when DOES Pique focus? I'd say we need 2 because Puyol can't play forever and aside from him we have 3 CB's. Pique lacks focus, Masch is error prone, and Bartra is inexperienced and not trusted by the management. it's not out of the question to buy one experienced and versatile defender now who can help stabilize the defense, and one for the future to build a defensive system around. It's not like Real because I'm not suggesting we buy some huge marquee 100 million euro CB, just 2 who can be at a decent price yet help ground our defense.
Barca had four reliable centre halves in Puyol, Pique, Abidal and Marquez. One has left, one has regressed a bit and two are too fragile to rely on due to a combination of age, injury and illness. A makeshift midfield player in Mascherano has done an 'emergency' job for two seasons now.
