BBZ8800 we've had our share of arguments ourselves but usually I'd commend you for being pretty level headed unlike the big portion of hot-headed doom-mongering kids who are sprouting the same negativity in every single thread they manage to stumple upon, somehow thinking people give a rat's ass about their drivel.

Please don't go there...

That said, yes, we definitely need rejuvenation on the team. Not just of age, but also of desire.
But come on now, we've had a great season, which is partially being ruined by a month or so of bad form and even worse luck in front of goal. Mind you, we could still very well be looking at a Double this season. Let's not overdo these doomsday scenarios and suddenly lose our shit because of what people may or may not say about Barça and Los Merengues decades from now. Try to enjoy football for what it is, look back over the past 10 odd years of fantastic matches, moments and titles and cherish what we had (an still have) and think a little less about the opinions of other people.

BBZ, you're overreating.

1. Real probably has more chances of finishing with 0 thropies the 2nd season in a row than the other way around for now.
2. Who cares what people will remember. Real will be remembered for the record number of CL/European Cups won, Barca will probably be remembered as the best team ever during Pep, only team to win 6/6 possible thropies in a calendar year. Plenty of records for different teams.
3. Dominance is more than a statistic.
4. It's likely that we'll win CLs in the future as well, with weaker teams, but not being as dominant. Winning the CL can be done while not being the undisputed best team in the world.
5. You are influenced too much by numbers, or by what people think.
6. For Real to be better than Barca they need to win La Liga. You can't pretend to be the best team in the World, when you're actually the 3rd best team in Spain in the last 3 years. It's just not logical.
7. People can think whatever they want, the actual dominance of a team goes beyond winning a competition which consists in 3-4 real games, sometimes even less. It's more complicated than that.

Mate, this forum is slightly different than the rest of the world.

Here we rate CDR as an important title, and as a possible double.
Sixtuple was forgotten fast in the rest of the world etc.

Also, when we read comments about Real:Atletico final here, it is extremely clear that people here are biased and commenting with Cules glasses, which means: always hate Real and diminish everything they do.

For example, to avoid Barca's glasses, I have opened Bayern's forum now, to see what they say about the final.
Bayern's fans aren't biased towards Barca, Real or Atletico.
They more or less, hate all 3 clubs.

So, here are some comments from less subjective football fans:
1. After our two meetings with Atletico I got a picture of them being overrated as fuck.. I think Real Madrid got this
2. Atletico is shit.
Madrid will destroy them. Just watch.
3. Atletico would win 50 games against Real in the league, then choke in the CL final like last time.
The luck Real keeps pulling out of their asses is ridiculous, who would have guessed it, Zidane taking them to Milan after their first half of the season and the sacking of Benitez.
4. Yeah. They "beat" us. On away goals.

No away goals in a final. And their team just falls apart in extra time.
No way Madrid will lose this one.
Also, away goals is a fucking retarded rule. Football will rejoice the day this stupid damn rule is gone. And it will be, for sure, for it is so idiotic it cannot possibly remain forever.

1. Real is also shit. They only got to the final because they LITERALLY played absolutely not even one top or semi-top side. Today was a last-8 level game, that's it. Atlético is firm favorite IMO. Despite being a disgusting team, they had to beat both Barça and us to get there, BTW.

OK, Tricky

I'll log off for today.

I am just really sad currently.
I haven't been this sad (as Barca's fan, looking at Real winning titles) since 2002'.

Cheers guys

If we win la liga and cup double then we will still be seen as the best team and rightly so, cups depend alot on luck whilst the league decides the best team. Now that it is an all Spanish final our league if we win it will have much greater significance.

As for our future, I am sure people thought Atletico blew their only chance 2 years ago but here they are again. We too will be back stronger especially as both Madrid clubs have transfer bans incoming. Spanish football is on top and I think that will last a few more years.

Oh, I changed my mind, mate.

Until our CL exit, I thought that we need to build around Messi and around the current team and I thought that we can win 1-2 CL titles in the next 2-3 years.

After this year, I lost faith in the current team.
They won too many trophies with Barca and with Nt teams (Busi, Iniesta, Alba, Alves, Pique, Masch, Messi).
This ship can only go down from now on.

So, I am with you and other guys now.
I have even jumped to a Pogba-ship lately.

We need fresh blood, motivation and some new players.

If not, we will see Rijkaard's team from 2007-2008 in the upcoming years, with Messi and Neymar instead of Ronnie and Deco.

F***ing Real, we can say that they are lucky, poor or something.
But they do have a bigger desire currently than our team. (Of course, that is because we won more titles lately, but that's how it goes. When you are winning too much, you are losing desire. When you are losing, like them, you are full of motivation.
Even that prick CR7, I mean, he scored a goal with his hands tonight, lol.
He is an idiot, but you can see a desire miles around him.

Now compare Cr7's and Bale's current desire in CL matches with Neymadonna and Messi's against AM.
People will say that it is only about luck, but it isn't.
Our batteries (of motivation) are totally empty.
And there is a huge chance that this team, without new blood, is irreparable, and lost their motivation forever (except for La liga and Cdr titles...)

Welcome to the
Ter stegen, fabinho, umtiti, marquinhos, r.rodriguez, pogba, verratti, denis suarez, mahrez, lacazette ship

Even if Real don't win it and end the season trophyless, this was essentially a free run at it for Zidane. Unless he was knocked out by a lesser team like Wolfsburg, he's already been a moderate success to them. And tbf, they're one point off the top of La Liga and in a Champions League final, so they'd be right to.

Grab a cold one and wallow in your self-pity for a bit. We all do that every now and then. You'll be back in working order sooner or later, buddy.

BBZ, the average Bayern fan is no better than us and why do you think they somehow are wiser and more objective on this matter of Real Madrid vs. Atletico? Some of them are still hurt from yesterday's elimination so naturally they want Atletico to crash and burn. They are just as biased as we are.

I too think Real Madrid has a much bigger chance to win in the final. So what if they win it? Life goes on. We will still try to beat those fuckers next season.

...I'm done with the champions league if Real madrid win it...Why the hell are they in the final...This is like so corrupt I seriously will never watch it again if they win...A deflected shot plus Lucky draws...Uefa Madrid can go to hell if Lucky Madrid lifts the trophy...Juventus Bayern Barcelona even Arsenal would be in the final with such lucky draws...I wnt watch the final and I will be relieved if Athletico win it but if Real are champions again than this competition is corrupt...I stil can't believe they in the final without even breaking a sweat...
