Aguero, the EPL superstar, not a single shot on target for the last 8 UCL games :rofl1:

More related to la liga teams in Europe in general, la liga teams have won 46 out of the 49 last knockouts in Europe, i read that somewhere. Wth is this for real?

As unlikely as it is, I would absolutely love if City didn't qualify for the CL next year. This is the pile of shit that Pep wants to manage? City are a soul-less club and the two games against Madrid proved it.

Although they will more than likely make it, I really hope Pep continues his atrocious away record to City, I would love to see them get slaughtered over and over and over again in Europe.

I don't know what's more lolworthy, Shitty's shittiness or the fact that Madrid still only managed to advance because of a deflection

With how bad City played, Madrid should have battered them, 5-0 at least, and looked like the best thing since sliced bread. The game should have resembled our games against a better City last year, which could easily have ended 10-0 in our favor. Yet despite Shitty's atrocious display, Madrid themselves were average at best. Can't believe they're in the final

Hell, the fact that either of these teams made it to a CL semi final (Shitty especially) is a disgrace in and of itself. This has got to be the worst CL semi final tie I've ever seen.

I am disappointed in Pep for going to City but I can't bring myself to root for him to be kicked out of the CL.

If it weren't for Pep, I would absolutely prefer for United to make the CL.

Without a doubt the lamest UCL semi-final I've watched in my lifetime.

I'm sure there will be more football tomorrow in Europa League.

I hope city takes the 4th, because i despise United. But then again, it would be pretty funny watching Pep on thursday nights against east european teams no one has heard about, and the fact that Van Gaal would continue as United manager would be hilarious.

Given that the last few seasons it's been Spanish sides to knock out other Spanish sides, especially in Europa, it's not hard to imagine. This year if it's an all Spanish Europa final then literally every Spanish team in Europe will of only been knocked out by another Spanish team.

It's not that unlikely really. They've Arsenal next and it won't really hurt Pellegrini's reputation if they don't get 4th. Stranger things have happened.

I disagree that this tie with Real was some vindicating result to show them up as a soulless club, though. It was simply a step too much for them, they're not on the level of the top 4 in Europe and their squad needs to be seriously revamped.

Another disgrace of a game, shamefull that RM can go and win it .. 0-0 / 1-0 against freaking Manchester City... fuck my life.

Yes they can win it.

But there is another side to the coin, that is, this season turning out to be one of the darkest in Real Madrid's history.

IF we secure the domestic double and IF Atletico win the CL, Real Madrid will be living their nightmare scenario.

We are in the driver seat and absolutely should secure the domestic double, no excuses. This Atletico team has eliminated both Bayern and Barca. They are younger, hungrier, more determined than Real and are much more talented than the 2014 team. In addition they have the best manager in the world at the moment, who has a great record against Madrid.

Things don't always play out like they should on paper, but both Atletico and Barca have all the resources and opportunity at their disposal to turn Real's season into a living hell.

Believe.

Atletico not winning would be a disgrace. Got there by beating Barca and Bayern while Madrid did it by beating Roma, Wolfsburg and Shitty (the last two quite unconvincingly at that).

I felt like City was already happy enough to be in the semis for once, they didn't really care too much about getting even further.

Ehm...what? They are pretty much the same as they have always been under Simeone, a giant pain to play against, difficult to beat, lethal at setpieces/counters. So, they suddenly just achieved a much higher level i wasnt aware of, when?

City put on one of the most pathetic displays of CL football I've ever seen in my life. And I've been watching football for 25 yrs. It was as if they were just happy to be there.

As for the final, I think people are overrating Atleti because of them eliminating us and Bayern over 2 legs. CL final is 90 minutes and Real will have their starters back and healthy. Football is also a cruel sport. I can see Atletico losing this final after impressive ties against the 2 best teams in the world.

Improvin' Perfection!!
It's Real's year really... So much similarity to Chelsea's fraud of a CL campaign in 2012.... Do fcuk all in the league, get humiliated loads of times, fire your manager, etc, etc. At least they eliminated the reigning champions and defeated Bayern, Real got even more luckier!

It's a cruel & mad world the football world!!
