Reminder Brasileiro starts today and Vitor Roque will be playing at 11.30cet.

If we really want him better just bite the bullet and get it sorted.

Seems like press have already started the 'wont have cash' argument.

Ignoring what have spent on and what will spend on this summer.

Need a back up to Lewa if wont sell him.

Thuram seems most obvious if can get him in.

Well, the financial problems we have are real and well-documented by now, so you really don't have to invent stuff at all.

What we have spent on is going to bring us a big title this season. So... the investment is paying off so far.

No.. thats not the point... the point is they will find ways to spend on other players and renewals.

The title is more down to players already there than anything spent on and money could have been spent better to not lose to much money in Europe and for future seasons.

Raphinha brought many points this season with his clutch goals and assists, especially since Dembele's obligatory season-ending injury. I think the players we brought in the summer, Lewandowski and Raphinha, are no1 and no2 offensive contributors this seasons based on pure numbers.

Barca would not have played with 10 men without him.

Raphinha money could have been better spent for what team needs.

Back to the 'Raphinha is a great back up' argument now.. but when it comes to Europe 'Xavi cant cope wthout Dembele' etc seems to be the way.

Raphinha scores a few and Lewa stops scoring as inst all that compatible with him as is with Dembele.

Works both ways.

Roberto and Kessie got more points for Barca than Gavi with clutch moments in league... only matters so much.

Raphinha been ok for his first season. Not great, but not bad either.

Both Dembele and Raphinha would have settled as starters imo. Especially after Pedri got injured. There's no way Xavi would've rather played fecking Roberto than Raphinha and Dembele at the same time, with Gavi, De Jong, and Busi in midfield.

Simples.

I like Raphinha and dont think bad value just think money could have been better spent on more of a like replacement for Busi and other areas of team.

He has been ok.

A lot of disaster games v better teams when other players were not stepping up.

Hopefully sold in summer.

Nah. Can't sell Raphinha unless you bring in an elite winger instead of him. Which I don't see.

Can easily sell him. Particularly if Messi comes in.

He isnt elite so doesnt have to be elite to replace him either.

Again it is all about how good Raphinha is but when Barca lose it is all about how miss Dembele....

Doesn't have to be elite, but has to be fit 100% of the time almost, and has to score over 20 goals + assists combined.

I'd personally want to see 10-15 more games before making a decision on Vitor. But I'm not a scout and don't have the depth of footballing knowledge.

If we believe this guy will be a top10 FW in the future then don't think and close the deal before the price increases just as Madrid done with their trio.

We can think of salary cap later by structuring the deal to come on loan, or pay the fee later, registering him in B and loaning him somewhere, etc.

JamDav point is that we are moving earth, moon and sun for the short term move of Messi returning, but won't think of a long term option and doing the same relative to their cost.

Well in the league Raphinha has 10 goals/assists and was shite v Real in cup and awful away to Man Utd in Europe etc.

Too much money for a back up that cant cover with enough quality the player on front of him.

Not that bad to think short term, because our core is still very young. We don't have a team with mature players in their prime except for De Jong. We need elite players more than young projects atm. Gundogan, Messi, they will improve this team no doubt if that's the plan.

I can understand why they will look at experienced players with on the ball elite quality.

Haha textbook.

Messi was the one dragging Barca down according to you... now Xavi wants him.. different story.

Claimed no way Xavi would want him back a few weeks ago also....now seems likely? Great decision Xavi.

All signings should improve the team that goes without saying as being the aim.
