What does one trick pony mean exactly? He can't play multiple positions? Sorry, but that's not a good argument. We are where we are because we valued versatility over quality (looking at you, Shark - and soon Olmo too).

Roque is good enough at his position to stick around longterm if given full support from the club which he'll never get here.

He can score. We need that.
He can play high press. Flick apparently wants that but based on his actions seemingly not really, lol.
He has good movement unlike a certain player who will play full 90 minutes every game.

Loan him out with the message that he has a future is best scenario all round.

The way he has been treated has been poor and lad looks anxious beyond belief.

There is no way he will be registered when could take 7/8m more than Pau Victor.

Get him a good loan and allow him chance to develop with some relative consistent situation.

If he fails take it from there in a years time.

If you are not out of this world in that position for Barca level club, you need to be versatile to be a Sub-player.

Are you going to start him this season in the striker position? Is he good enough for that?

If your answer is yes, then it's your opinion, and its wrong. No one in their right mind will start him in Barca. I am not even considering Pau or Lewa here. Just him as a striker in the whole squad.

So he needs to go on a loan to show his ability and develop his technical ability. Come back and then I will agree with you.
A one-trick pony for a striker is the Italian way of developing strikers. There is nothing wrong with that, and sometimes it is better to have them than versatility.

This guy must be beyond terrible. Even beyond what we see on the pitch.

-Xavi didn’t rate him
-Flick doesn’t rate him
-Can’t even get a look in this awful Brazil team.

For Barca to ship him out after a few months is crazy. Even the likes of Yerry Mina, Andre Gomes and Trincao got more time here lol.
