At least he can win comfortably against PLzen,
unlike Ernie who couldn't win against Slavia Prague and Olympiacos

Dude, he won ONE CL game in his ONE.

Ernie did beat liver 3-0  and humiliated RM many times.

EV is not a great manager by any mean.

Xavi is shit all day long and as stupid as a rock.

Having one of the best if not the best summer transfer windows in Europe and in FCB recent history, his squad is worth as much as RM squad.

And still play and perform like shit

Not saying that Xavi isn't shit.

Just saying that Ernie is not what many here think he is

We should also add his European record to see the bigger picture:

Barca:Benfica 0:0
Bayern:Barca 3:0
Barca:plzen 5:1
Bayern:Barca 2:0
Inter:Barca 1:0
Barca:Inter 3:3
Barca:Bayern 0:3
Plzen:Barca x:x

Barca:Napoli 1:1
Napoli:Barca 2:4
Barca:Gala 0:0
Gala:Barca 1:2
Eintracht:Barca 1:1
Barca:Eintracht 2:3

Champions league:
7 matches, 1 win (Plzen), 2 draws, 4 defeats
3 away matches CL, 3 defeats, 6:0 goals ratio
Bayern:Barca under Xavi: 3 matches, 3 wins, 8:0 goals ratio

Total matches in Europe:
13 matches, 3 wins, 5 draws, 5 defeats, goals: 18:21

We have 3 wins in 13 matches.
A true European force...

Lol, most of those sides he lost against are some levels above us.

Hell, 3 of the 4 losses in CL are against Bayern.

The fuck do you expect for an early rebuild phase?

 Some of you guys... complete delusion and out of touch with reality.

So it's ok to lose to Bayern over 3 games with an 8 nil aggregate? Whilst much worse teams taken points off them and Plzen scored 2 against them?

It's bad, but the kind of bad that is to be expected for our position and our style. You can't play football vs Bayern the way we want to with our current players.

2 bad losses vs Bayern are to be expected. When we played our full team with no injuries we looked much better on Allianz in the 0-2.

So why not go with a more pragmatic approach? We may of snatched something. Going toe to toe with the big boys like Bayern is always going to end one way, Xavi needs to realize we aren't the force we once were and our style is outdated. It's as if we are only allowed to play a certain style, doesn't matter if we get hammered, as long as we stick to the philosophy everything should be forgiven. Wrong.

This shit is going to occur once again in Europa league and this time it'll be even more embarrassing if we lose to Arse or United even.

This argument of 'bad current players' has been ridiculed since last summer.
No, Xavi has a great squad to work with apart from RB spot.

Look at Arsenal i used as an example on the other thread.
Player by player, position by position, you wouldn't swap any Arsenal player with a Barca one.
It's the superb work of their manager that have made them so good and cohesive

The first time we met Bayern the first half was very good but the second half they were the much better team. From then on the European adventure was just one terrible performance after another.

Although that was also a theme for the last few years before Xavi, but he’s not done anything to correct that.

People seem to think the team playing one good 45 minutes in an entire CL campaign apparently proves Xavi is a good manager.

Xavi on Barca

Being at Barca is a rollercoaster of emotions. We drew against Rayo and everything fell apart and then we beat Real Sociedad and everything was fantastic. We played great games Villarreal and Athletic. I think we have been in a good dynamic in La Liga, we are playing good football and there is a clear identity of what we are. We can?t lose our identity.

🤣🤣 Once again this fraud talking about "identity".
What is this idiot smoking? So sick of the club trotting out this identity, Barca DNA BS.

Martinelli well beyond Ferret/Pedri, Saka well beyond Gavi/Kessie/FDJ, I only watch Arsenal's highlights but I'm sure there's other easy and obvious upgrades over Barca factoring in manager optimization with Arteta and sabotage with Xavi.

Early rebuild phase? 😆

How long are you giving Xavi to rebuild?
5 years? It's already been one year. He's been given a ton 9f players and we're back in the Europa League. To me that's not progression, it's regression.
I am sick of people saying we are rebuilding. Big clubs don't rebuild, they just tweak and regroup.
We embarrassed Bayern in 2009. They were shite but next year they made the final. That is how a top club responds. Only rebuild I've seen is Klopp at Liverpool.
They were much worse than us and he took them to EPL and cl with no real star players.

Embarrassing read when you consider you were shooting Koeman down for every bad result.
?early rebuild phase?. Then last season we were in ?earliest rebulld phase?? Yet no leniency showed lol.
